Thanks for the suggestion. I think thats great idea, I will definitely do more videos on neurobiology (BBB) and also the different types of cellular transportations there are in the body as well as in the brain. Probably not for a few months though, cause i have exams and assignments coming up ;/

Thank you so much for the great video! Just wanted to point out for everyone that at 6:20, Armando wrote "Olgeodendrocytes", but that it is in fact "Oligodendrocytes". Have fun learning! 😀

Again here, isn't that unipolar neuron at 14:50 actually a pseudo-unipolar neuron? Thank you, I am really learning a lot from your videos!

Do all the cranial nerves ,or at least some of them , find their way into the spinal cord for performing involuntary functions(eg -breathing ,heart beat) and voluntary ones (like movement of limbs )?
@Giatros89
@Giatros89 12 жыл бұрын
@Giatros89 Work* in laying a background. Example talk about how the blood brain barrier allows some things in via diffusion vs active transport. Lipids can go straight through etc

'ventrical' should be ventricle; 'ogleodendrocyte' is really oligodendrocyte. Really a Good overview overall, thanks.

7:23 -- I thought that an important characteristic of oligodendrocytes was that they can myelinate multiple cells, unlike Schwaan cells?
@vaniacosta2510
@vaniacosta2510 10 жыл бұрын
that's correct. One oligodendrocyte myelinate multiple axons, while multiple schwaan cells can myelinate one axon

Are the sensory neurones also classified as autonomic and somatic or does this classification apply only on motor neurons?
@muskanalyan7354
@muskanalyan7354 3 жыл бұрын
Sensory neurons can't be classified into autonomic and somatic lol. Sensory receptors will receive stimulus and act accordingly. You can't discard some stimulus while accepting some.
