Armenia Receives 'Harsh Reprimand' From Israel After Recognising Palestinian Statehood

Armenia is now the latest country to join several other European nations in recognising Palestine as an independent state. Armenia's foreign ministry reaffirmed its support for a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and its commitment to international law, while also condemning Israel's military actions in Gaza. But the response from Israel has been harsh and swift.
Israel's foreign ministry summoned the Armenian ambassador in Tel Aviv, who received, according to a statement, a harsh reprimand conversation. Israeli officials also warned that Armenian's recognition would have a negative effect on relations. Armenia's diplomatic support to Palestine comes after the UN General Assembly adopted a resolution last month, which recommended Palestine's admission as a full UN member. Palestine and Turkiye welcomed Yerevan's decision, encouraging more countries to follow suit. And, last week, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, in a rare phone call, reiterated their commitment to normalising relations without preconditions. Their rapprochement comes as Gaza's humanitarian crisis worsens and Israel becomes increasingly isolated from Europe and the world.
Strait Talk, hosted by Ayse Suberker, is TRT World’s programme that features in-depth analysis of Türkiye’s role in the world.

Tell that to the people of Gaza/Palestine who are and have been oppressed by their own so-called leaders and terror groups who are puppets under the evil regime of Iran. This is a backward step for humanity! Also, a two-state solution is not wanted by Palestine. So how is this anything but a political game of smoke and mirrors!

"There is no such thing as Palestine in history, absolutely not." -- Arab Princeton Professor, Philip Hitti, before the Anglo-American Committee of Inquiry in Jerusalem in 1946. "We [Palestinians] were never an independent state in history, we were part of an Arab state and an Islamic state.” -- Palestinian Hamas Foreign Minister Mahmoud Zahhar (quoted in The Economist, February 2, 2008) If Palestine were an Arab state, at any point in recorded history, why was there no mention of them? Because there never was an Arab Palestinian nation, nor any nation called Palestine, ever. In 1964 Yasser Arafat visited Moscow, USSR. While there, the Soviet KGB (secret service) developed a strategy for him. Arafat would be the leader of a new organization named PLO, Palestinian liberation organization. The KGB recommended that the Arabs create a new identity for themselves that would called Palestinian. So where are the geographical roots of the so called Palestinians??????? Hamas Minister of the Interior and of National Security Fathi Hammad, aired by Al-Hekma TV on March 23, 2012. Stated..........we all have Arab roots, and every Palestinian, in Gaza and throughout Palestine, can prove his Arab roots - whether from Saudi Arabia, from Yemen, or anywhere. We have blood ties. Personally, half my family is Egyptian. We are all like that. More than 30 families in the Gaza Strip are called Al-Masri ["Egyptian"]. Brothers, half of the Palestinians are Egyptians and the other half are Saudis. Who are the Palestinians? We have many families called Al-Masri, whose roots are Egyptian. Egyptian! @Boo-sc9gz did u read the first comment I responded to ? This guy said “ we as Muslims have to support Armenia in their fight” do u actually know what it means? Some 30 years ago when USSR collapsed small countries like Armenia and Azerbaijan(Muslim Turks) got their freedom. Armenia attacked Azerbaijan and killed thousands of civilians (kids, women, elderly men and women) Armenians did heinous crimes and ethnic cleansing because they all the support from Russia. Can u see now? This guy up there supporting Armenians against killing Azerbaijanis. Turkey trained Azerbaijans military for 30 years give them a lot of support at the end they fight like lions got their lands back finely . Turks know Palestinians are supporting Armenians against Azerbaijan and they align with Armenians. We can clearly see our problem is not theirs. What does holly book say about that? When Their back stabbing grand fathers betrayed Ottoman ( khalifa, ummah) and side with Britain killed thousands of ottoman soldiers defending Makkah,Medina and Levant. Muslim Arab Ummah gutted ottoman soldiers these are the only facts. If my problem Arabs problem, theirs is not mine. Let Muslim Arab nations help their cousin Palestine. I'd imagine both of these nations you speak of would prefer things to be that way. But the issue is Armenia has territorial claims on 3 out of it's 4 neighbors. When you have territorial disputes on nearly everyone in the region, it is a bit tough for any of those nations to have normal relations with you. This isn't a rocket science. It isn't just Turkey and Azerbaijan Armenia is taking an aggressive territorial stance with. Armenia has also made territorial claims on Georgia as well. This is not a good situation for the entire region. This nation needs to learn how to get along with it's neighbors. But I do applaud their stance on Palestine regardless of why they're doing it.

Egyptian! They may be from Alexandria, from Cairo, from Dumietta, from the North, from Aswan, from Upper Egypt. We are Egyptians. The so called Palestinians are not even from Palestine!!

Israel did the same thing during the war with Azerbaijan in the early 90s. They would fly over Armenia with recognizance planes and tell the Azeris where to bomc. Azeri caaptured soldiers were found packs of military rations made in Israel. Mist likely supplied them with weapons too, but they lost just the same, because they didn't have Turkey, Pakistan and Syrian jihadis helping them. If it wasn't for that, they would have lost the recent war too.
