📍 The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development agreed to loan Armenia more than $256 million for a major road project in the country’s southernmost Syunik region.
📍 Stock prices of the Bank of Georgia Group, the company that owns Ameriabank, one of Armenia’s biggest lenders, plunged as markets reacted to the Georgian government’s move to push forward with controversial legislation that may derail that country’s efforts to join the European Union.

That should be a grant, not a loan. I mean: If the road was in Ukraine, the money would be free of charge.

And of coursr, oligarchs get the contracts. We havent learned from that Armenia Fund scandal from those Artsakh highways.

Have you been on the northern part towards Gyumri? And on other road revamps in the north? That would answer your question.

@@dzurfluh2156 no, I wasn’t there but my question is based on these facts: how many years the project north-south is being built and by how much the budget for this project is being blown up. And why the ministry responsible for completion of this project is not able to give the timeline. The question here is : where is the money?

Imagine Turkish Armenian relations improve, wouldnt you want to know if Turkish, Russian, or Iranian money went into NGOs? It protects small nations. Armenia needs a foreign agents bill also.
