One day could you go over what circumstance or licensing you have as a Canadian that allow you to get all of those guns? I’m American and I can’t even get most of those SBRs or select fire guns. Good to see you’re back.

He basically has the equivalent of an FFL SOT. It’s called a BFL here. Business Firearms License. The provisions on that license would allow him to possess machine guns, suppressors, and other prohibited weapons or devices.

@@short1st65 It won’t be per gun, it would be a provision on your license and it would be for a class of gun. For example there’s a provision for short barrel handguns, one for machine guns, ect.. You may have heard of someone with a 12(2) or 12(4) and more. These provisions on the license only exist for people who are grandfathered in. Meaning they owned that class of firearm before it became prohibited and are allowed to keep those firearms and buy/sell existing ones in the country of that class. As a general rule, a PAL will indicate what categories of prohibited firearms the licence holder is licensed to acquire by showing the section of the Firearms Act that grandfathers them, as follows: s.12(2): full automatics s.12(3): converted automatics s.12(4): firearms prohibited by former prohibition order No. 12 s.12(5): firearms prohibited by former prohibition order No. 13 s.12(6.1): handguns with a barrel length of 105 mm or less or that discharge .25 or .32 calibre ammunition. s.12(7): inherited handguns made prior to 1946 that fall under the s. 12(6.1) category You can check out the RCMP Canadian Firearms Program website for more details 🙂

@@mouthbreather280 Hmm, maybe I misunderstood something or am referring to a different license, but there was something about a kind of collector's license were you have to write to your CFO about why you would like to collect a certain prohib, as well as (I know this sounds funny) write some kind of essay about that weapon, its history, uses, accessories etc to demonstrate that you are knowledgeable about said firearm.... But maybe I misunderstood something

@@Machoman50ta depending on the province and the CFO the rules are different. So here in Alberta our two biggest ranges the Shooting Edge and Calgary Shooting Centre are RCMP approved for prohibited firearms to be used. So if you come here you can rent and use any prohibs. If you watch the full video he explains that he is in the process of getting an RCMP approved range to use his stuff legally. In other provinces like Ontario where Marstar is located they need to have a valid reason to use prohibited firearms which is why Marstar owns a production company and they post videos online of them using machine guns and suppressors while adding commentary to fulfill the rules the CFO outlined. Also in terms of rules around transporting the firearms if a movie production company contracts you out to a specified location you can get RCMP approval to transport that firearm to that location for use and that is completely reasonable.
