Whow, you get this so right, even after so many months since the hype over this film, I still am so absorbed by it.

I agree that Luca did a magical job at bringing this beautiful book to life. Not only was it a perfect match to put these two together, but for anyone that has read this book, they know that these two incredible actors are far more talented than anyone even gives them credit for, and that is saying a lot. Andre’s book is so beautifully written that it takes ten minutes of reading time just to explain a single moment of emotion. The descriptive writing never allows one to not feel exactly what Elio was feeling in that very moment. I wonder if anyone realizes what a daunting task it would be to portray these characters as an actors. It must have been terrifying to try and reveal such emotions on film and make them look real. I’ve always liked, Armie but both he and Timothee proved they are masters at their craft. I also agree with you about their chemistry, it is amazing. These two and Luca truly brought Andre’s book to life and it touched me forever.

Exactly! I didnt even want to think this because i understand theres somewhat of a line between acting and real life. Sometimes they do get mixed though. Which I feel was the case here. Armie’s eyes tell it all. The way he gazes and stares at Tim is that of appreciation and attraction.

That's what we all want. But I also think that the ambiguous ending is also a big part of why many find the book and movie so relatable.

The writer has a cruel sense of humour ending the book on that note! So unfair.

I think it'll just make everything harder for Armie. His mom is really against it. Wich might not seem like a big problem to some people but i know stories where parents cut all the contact with their kids because of religious reasons. He is married and has 2 kids. This isn't as easy right?
