Armin van Buuren finally unleashes his new artist album ‘BALANCE’. As stated by Armin van Buuren, the album is about thinking in possibilities rather than definition, thinking about what music could be instead of what it should be. “Every song I make teaches me something new, and the next song is always a result of all my previous records, the new things I learned and the people I met”, the world-renowned DJ and producer says in the foreword of his album. “Over the years, this process - and especially the fun of creating - became more and more important to me. It’s a journey that gives me meaning and helps me learn more about my personal interests rather than focus on the recognition I get for the outcome. That’s the big difference between who I am today and who I was a few years ago. 'BALANCE' is a new chapter in my book of life, the result of venturing into known and unknown territories while finding the balance in between. This creative journey gives me the energy to do what I do, to keep going. I don’t want to think about what music should be. I want to think about what music could be."

I have the same kind of feeling with this song. The day my son was born, he and his mom had to stay at the hospital that night and i had to go home and heard this song on the radio that night while driving home. This song reminds me everytime of the birth of my son.

Because I am adopted, when we had our son 11 years ago, he was the first person related to me by blood I had ever laid my eyes on. It was the most incredible thing that has ever happened to me. My wife is currently fighting lung cancer and when I listen to this song I look at my child, we are so afraid of being two on this earth. All I hope is that she wins her biggest fight of life. Love you my son and my super wife.. Thats my sad story.. :(

my mother is my dad and mom all rolled into one. someone once asked her: "arent you afraid your son (me) is going to leave you one day?" and she responded: "every child leaves, and that's natural. but there's a difference if they leave to escape from you and leave to always gladly come back." I always gladly come back. :)

I lost my dad 12 years ago when I was 17, last month I also lost my mom. They both had lung cancer. I’m 29 years old and I got no parents anymore. Everytime I hear ‘’my wild wild son, run free”, I can’t stop crying.

Seeing how the father is teaching his son how to ride a bike was just... ...beautiful Maybe thats only a big thing in the Netherlands (where I live), but I wonder how many parents (especially dads) have learnt their kids to ride a bike without help and feeling the happyness of their kids and afterwards realising that it was a step towards their kids growing up and becoming more and more independent. I bet my father did that some twelve odd years ago. It must be a bittersweet sadness that you as a parent know that your children inevitably are going to leave and build a life of their own. I will remember this song if the time comes and it's my turn to learn my child to ride a bike alone.

Sam Martin wrote beautiful song about his unborn son. Also Sam Martin and his team made a beautiful composition. I watched an interview with him where he talked about it and played song "WILD WILD SON" on the piano! Sam Martin is an Artist! Everything else is just a mix of the DJ program. The video spot is also great, their team has done a good job. ❤️😄

I was pregnant (with a girl) when this song was released, I cried shivers listening to this song, after I gave birth I was very busy... I just remembered after 3 years and came back again to listen ❤

I'm just about to turn 70,an avid music collector for many years. I'm adopted and never have known who my real parents are which got to me on occasions but lived with it. ... This song by Arm just blew me away and left me in tears almost from the note. Incredible lyrics and music.......sooooo incredibly emotional.....gonna have this as No1 play at my funeral .....
