During the lockdown, I hadn't shot for 7 months, I was going crazy, I bought resistance bands to simulate shooting, etc. All the ranges near me were shut and my university wasn't holding any archery sessions. Then I got a high stopping power target from online, put it in my room on top of my futon bedframe, started shooting almost every day for two months just focusing on my form and not aiming. Distance is only about 1.5 - 2m. The improvement of my form over these two months has been amazing and results back at the range have showed this. Even without shooting distance, I was able to improve my distance shooting massively just because of this. So it's always a great idea to find a good target for your home, indoor or in the garden, and just practice form there whilst you're not at the range. I can't recommend it enough! 🙏🏼

So eager for the next Friday . in the mean time , keep safe and I will always remember it only takes one arrow to get it right

Just sharing: as a kung fu practitioner for nearly 30 years, what you called 'skeptical mind' I was taught as "analysis paralysis" meaning you never make a definite decision or action because you're too busy wondering "yes, but, what if...?" You need to be decisive. Of course, it has to be balanced by not being reckless either, and that takes frankly just the wisdom of age and experience, but I just thought you'd be interested to hear a shared perspective (and a catchy phrase). By the way, these are indeed the same issues which stop anyone from doing what they know they ought to be doing. And I am SO GLAD you concisely put it all together in a quick video! I'll be sharing it with all my friends; thank you for making this! ...PS: the Bob Ross voice helps 😉

Thank you for this insight I hope all your viewers understand where your coming from. As you know my story I use archery to keep me from my hindrances in my 44 years of life it's the only thing I've found to relax my mind and body without being sick the next day! 7+ years clean and sober due to my addiction to archery Haha 😄😆😅. And I have you to thank for that for showing me a different path! Thank you Armin!! Sincerely!

Excellent video sir. As some one who deals with depression, archery has been my greatest tool for combating it. I do my best to practice every day after work, as it helps me unwind. Most recently, I was struck but the sudden death of a family pet, and I found myself distraught and was unable to settle my mind. So, I grab a bow, and went outside to shoot, I wasn't even really aiming, just shooting at a target, helped calm the mind, and ease tension, I was them able to get on with my day.

Archery should be your place of serenity where nothing else exists, my wife and son had been choosing to...bother me at the time when I begun practicing....I went inside and I yelled at them do not bother me and screw up my state of mind when I practice this is my time I need this time to be okay do you hear me am I getting through to you and then I went out and just breathe and then start my practice. They don't bother me anymore when I practice. That is my place of serenity and if archery is not bringing you happiness or calmness maybe it's not your thing but one thing is for sure that to make the commitment to daily archery practice takes a lot of motivation and determination like Mihai said and since the bow isn't used like in the past you have to find your own reasons to stay committed to this practice and if that reason is that it gives you peace or serenity and time away from the disaster that is your life then that's all the motivation you need. Now let's go throw some arrows

Great little talk and yes I agree. Empty minded archery is just that. We had a heat wave that was historical here in Alberta. +36°C lol its only 30 now but I find especially for me heat affects my accuracy because my mind is focusing on keeping my body cool. I had to look that up because I couldn't shoot in +35

Thank you, Armin, On point video. I recently had an 'it's too hot', 'too wet', week. (I know! I know! I'm Irish, I should be used to rain, it was seriously bucketing) I broke the slump by practising in the evening. Yesterday 'the Midges' were biting. Little pests. I was trying to concentrate on form. After my archery session, when removing my bracer, I was surprised to discover the patches of red marks along my bow arm. I do vaguely remember smashing some horse flies. Though somewhere through my second set, I'd zoned into the archery.

Being has a tendency to 'return' to clusters ='the nature of solidarity' -a desire for empathy -(Wave)-(yin) and also, Being has a tendency to 'exist' as individuals ='the nature of self-expension' -a desire for breed-(Particle)-(Yang) Likewise, humans have two elements. We must realize that we all have both left and right elements =Solidarity and Self reliance No one has only one element. so 'Sum' derived from 'two poles' , (thesis, antithesis, synthesis) To develop intellect and ethics by harmonizing the two, It is good to realize it and balance it properly But A few people polarized the crowd(political partisanship) without balancing themselves. And They stole only the sum, only the synthesis from the triangle composition. Now We all have to get out of this deceptive situation. This is not the time for us to hate each other. We have to track down those who have been manipulating us.

Modern hinderance to the present... You choose to watch a youtube video yet, after it starts, youtube offers you a selection of more videos below to scroll through for viewing now or in the future based on your past views and you suddenly realize your current video has reached the end and stopped but... you don't know what happened in it because you weren't paying attention to what was currently playing in front of your face and ears. Only things is, real life doesn't offer selective rewind and most of people's self-compiled playlists are on a tragic and neurotic repeat loop of bad events and held grudges instead of insprirational and helpful things.
