To all the fans that love his trance, i beg you to not lose faith in him. No matter what music he plays we should all stick by him and after all he does play trance, like at his ultra set and always in his radio shows. Armin just wants to provide an experience to the more mainstream fans on the mainstage. May we always stick by him no matter what

Considering circuit grounds wasn't the main stage (still pretty big) and Above & Beyond played before Armin, I was expecting him to play more trance than he usually does nowadays.

Yup the set was really good but I was slightly disappointed. But i feel like the reason why is because he played Gaia the day after while there was no Gaia at Ultra

I've been to 3 EDC's and this stage was my favorite. It completely consumed you. The drop and 9:23 was effiing MASSIVE in person.

I used to like Armin but to be honest...you kinda get tired of listening the same set being played in different locations over and over and over and over again. EDM djs are lazy. Sorry Armin.

He is playing almost daily. Kinda hard to search for new tracks every time, right? It's not about being lazy, it's about not having enough time to create new sets every day. So he has a pool of 30-40 tracks and plays them for one-two-three months then changes them.

Correct about the 30/40 pool tracks but sincerely from those he is only playing the same 15 or at least he can try mixing the same songs in different order to create another vibe but it is like if it was a prerecorded set.

He said multiple times that he isn't prerecording his sets. He adapts to the crowd. But yeah, his sets need a change, even if they're brilliant.

Plus armin is on world tour right now with a 7 hour set that includes a dance team, about 10 singers, and a vinyl set at the end. Is world tour show is truly groundbreaking for a DJ. NOONE is doing what he's doing right now. His world tour shows are TRUE concerts with dancers, singers, amazing production and for 7 hours straight. No other DJ is doing anything on his level.

Best Armin set I've ever heard was @ Tomorrowland 2013. He was relentless and so was the crowd!! Think trance has gone soft over the years cause the DJ'S are catering to their audience. Real trance fans know this, especially if you've been listening to this music before it was cool to like "EDM". Thanks to people like Christopher lawrence for keeping it real!!
