Man, I think if McFarlane went true to the original Frank Miller look of armored Batman, they could haved knocked it out of the park. I skipped on him and just sticking with my Mattel armored Batman.

I was very happy to be able to get the single pack version of this blue batman (super hard to find). I definitely prefer the more comic accurate helmet of this 2 pack version though compared to that one and the black version. Thank you for the review.

I just got mine for free at Vintage Stock when I purchased a Hallmark Death Star tree topper for $50 (their Red Tag BOGO sale). For that "price", I think it's fine and dandy! Really though, even if I paid the $45 that they wanted for it, I'd still be happy. Frank Miller's art ain't pretty, so I don't mind the "ugly" Superman and the modern details in Batman's armor is alright because I grew up in the 90s, where superhero costumes were filled with lines of detail. They look good on the shelf with my DC Direct Superman vs Doomsday figures!

I just got this at Target for 19.99$ I already have the single pack gray and black version of the armored Batman and display it against the action comics Superman but this one is different enough for me to use in the display against the frank miller Superman which I was not liking much because of the face and the lack of accessories but it’s ok for 20$ I’m glad I got the 2pack and can deal with the face on Superman because it looks like the art style of frank miller

I must say that metallic blue is very nice. Unfortunately I haven’t had any luck finding this in stores. However, now that the mafex one is out. I might go for that one. And maybe the mafex Superman. Oh decisions decisions. lol.

I already had Superman and bought the solo armored Batman. He head on this Batman is more accurate but I don’t like the blue. Gonna pass on it, but I’m glad you reviewed this and I hope you review more mcfarlane figures!

My God, I hate that mcfarlane glues the plastic to the art work. When I opened my steppenwolf I wanted to keep the background but I couldn’t because it peeled of when I got the bases of the plastic. I wanted to unstick the plastic carefully but some parts where already peeled.

This supes got the face issue...it seems like he just had some failed plastic surgery on his face....for the batman overall just good, but I don't really like it's color...much better w/ grey I think....
