​@@captainkoloth1631 none of those compare. Graviteam Tactics - yeah it is a very good tank warfare sim, it does tanks better, but urban warfare and infantry are very simple. But AB2 may scratch that itch, yes.

I'm planning on building a pc around the newest AMD gpu. What problems does the CM series have? I play it everyday pretty much

@@michaelray1386 For over a year it was an issue where ANY explosion on screen would make your entire display go flashbang white. They finally fixed that but now if you run scenarios larger than company size, you'll get a crash to desktop from running out of memory even if your rig is a beast with more than 16 Gb RAM and 8Gb virtual memory in your GPU. I am forced to save every single turn in case of a crash, often crashing WHEN I SAVE THE GAME. Takes alot of the joy out of my play session that its russian roulette wether I make any progress on a scenario

@@michaelray1386 The model does not look amazing in the current standard, old graphic, Not much has changed, LOS mechanical wasn't good, kinda expensive for people, A. I wasn't good enough and even bugs still existed and performance issues for some people as well. Otherwise, this game as long as it is fine for me when it is replayable and the game is still workable, even moddable.

@@Mechanized85 silly me, I didn't read the description. "The game shifts from a 2D to a more immersive 3D environment." Very cool, Armored Brigade but now with Daggerfall Unity graphics. It's odd because I think the creators themselves wrote "nO, We ARe NOt gOINg 3D" in the forums like a month ago

You might be confusing it with another game, or there may be a misunderstanding. The transition to 3D was solely kept as a surprise.

@@nikolasandic66 Then what's the point of this 3D? To check terrain highs? And i am sure it will affect map size for battles and overall game performance, first have 15² km maximum and handle it pretty well because 2D, but anyway had some native FPS drops (you can see it in steam discussions), this will be some mess with 3D.

@@vilomaxus2463 Yes, the terrain can be read much more effectively, and battles are far more immersive. This also paves the way for other improvements, such as expanded movement for aircraft and helicopters etc. As for performance, 15x15km maps have been retained, and the performance is highly optimised (way smoother than similar war-games). Rare FPS drop in original AB1 was related to Windows 11 updates, but that has been solved.
