Pair your "you can't hit what you can't see" with a "you can't dodge what you can't see" and that's my experience with AC4/FA in a nutshell...

One of my favorite NEXTs to pilot. So fast and I believe you can mitigate the energy concerns with a stronger generator because the MGs are so light.

Quick correction: Fragile is encountered as an enemy in "Defend Line Ark" alongside Otsdarva, which means it's impossible to face him outside of the arena on a first playthrough. Oddly, there's nothing even _suggesting_ that CUBE is a cyborg in the Japanese version, which makes me wonder if that's the result of a translation error, much like the gender of Anatolia's Mercenary in For Answer's arena. Personally, I never cared much for using the X-SOBRERO model. It staggers too easily and only really hits consistently if you can keep your target in the dead-center of the screen, in my opinion. This makes the optimal weapon for this NEXT not machine guns, but missiles. While the model is easy to make a "perma-flight" build, I feel doing so hinders its offensive abilities in a massive way.

Fragile is exceptionally effective at destroying the cradles. I remember wondering if it was purpose built for this when I first tried this.

I bolted machine gun arms onto an Eklakh frame with Scylla, the light grenade launcher and the fast radar booster. Fragile hated that. I did greatly enjoy jockeying it, however

One of the strangest ACs ever built, especially since it’s one of only 2 ACs not built by a corporation, the other being White Glint. Another interesting point that is sort of unrelated to the video. Fragile is said to be a cyborg in the American version, but it is not said in the Japanese version. Importantly, human plus users in previous games grant abilities that NEXTs have by default, making us speculate if all Lynx are Cyborgs. Aspina is quite an interesting colony all things considered.

the accuracy of fragile's arm weapons arent brought down by the machinegun itself, but rather the horrible overall stats of the actual arms. ive tried using the aspina machineguns on other arms, and they fare pretty well

i played through all of AC4A's missions as Fragile as a challenge. it was a real learning experience. One of the things I found was slightly retuning to increase my vertical thrust: by maxing my VT, I'd either briefly thrust upward or cut my boosters in the middle of quickboosts and it made 3d evasive maneuvers extremely fluid and fun.

Since I've been playing through AC4A again I remembered an old therory I've had. That CUBE is Joshua O'Brien, or more likely what's left of him after AC4. Maybe someone pulled him out of that craft after the battle and modified his body to save his life. Or just trying to preserve his talent. That trauma could have shaped his personality into CUBE's. Him being the only cyborg in the game just seems a bit weird. Also the part about the inhumane battle capabilities, I'd expect you'd still need someone with good AMS aptitude and skill as a basis to get to this level. Also the devs put in effort to make the parts used coherent to the craft's or pilot's story, not just suited for the fighting style. So looking at how this is an Aspina craft with some Omer parts... fits Joshua and what happened to him pretty well. And that logo.. the hand letting go of the white dust? Could be nothing, could be another hint. In addition to that, it's weird how CUBE was put into the mission where you fight alongside White Glint. Though that could also have been because of other reasons, like countering WG's speed or Aspina helping in this due to the past ties with WG. If CUBE was Joshua it would be a bit poetic for him to find an end in that battle. I know the cyborg thing is only mentioned in the english version. Though I don't know if that's pulled out of thin air or just the english version spelling something out the japanese one only hinted at.

Thought I could fight it in free battle with scatter missiles to deal with the fact that it zoomed around all over the place. It's gun barrage blew my missiles up as they left my barrel and took the last 70% of my health in an instant.

ive found that lightweight, fragile and high speed frames excel at combat with blades. i actually just dropped ranged weapons altogether unless absolutely necessary to get the most mobility out of parts from sombrero and lahire, and then went out and S ranked every normal and hard mission pretty easily. all you need is spacial awareness and suddenly youve got an instant death machine that will kill everything with 1 or 2 clean hits as long as you can line up a shot

I've been on a gothic x machines and mechs grind lately and this frame is hitting that aesthetic in a way. I never got to play any of the original Armored Core games. So I'm looking forward to the 6th one. Hopefully we get multiple variants of this. I saw a different version of it on Amazon that sold out

I tore through the arena fights with a soluh frame with the MG arms and rhat chain gun. The utter DPS it puts out is NUTS

Placing the chainguns on a light quad-legged blade NEXT can be highly effective at ending fights quickly.

I'm wondering if the existence of Fragile is a link to AC1 where the player can become a cyborg for failing too many times. Perhaps CUBE is very old and was dug out by a struggling Aspina. The other possible link is that in the last level of Armored Core the area is inhabited by floating three dimensionally moving cube machines. It could be CUBE is the last of the Human Plus program that kept humanity hiding underground.

I ran out of ammo fighting him in the arena and had to resort to a sword. He also ran out of ammo. It was horrible. Lol.

Fragile is the only Lynx that has a NEXT so fast that it wouldn't be wrong to play Bang Bang by K'NANN, Adam Levine because personally this is the Armored Core equivalent of Gauss Prime.

I remember when i first fight Fragile in rank match I'll be honest, it's really frustrating to me who build heavy type AC like GA My first weapon are Gatling and Rifle with back weapon are missile and cannon I miss all my shot with fragile literally dodge side way non-stop but i manage to win against him because he use up all his machine gun and chain gun ammo and all he does is side way boost entire time while i just continue firing my Gatling and rifle Took more than 5 minute to finish the fight against fragile

Like Anatolia's Mercenary his Rank is way below his skill. He would be easily one of the big five. The SOBREORO/Fragile frame is with the Argyros the most advanced frame in For Answer. Both cost a kidney in repair costs.

having used similar ACs in a competitive environment, the real value of the back mounted chaingun is pressure. being *constantly* pelted with bullets is stressful and distracting. mixing the arm mounted and back mounted weapons can create a more dynamic threat, where enemies will spend resources staying out of the back cannon's hail of bullets while actually taking damage from the more poweful but less conspicuous hand weapon. its odd energy use reflects a different style of combat than most ACs. called "lockbox evasion" in previous generations. this thing doesn't want to evade projectiles, it wants to avoid the enemy's firing arc altogether. if you want to dodge bullets with quickboosts, you only want to spend enough energy to get out of the way. what fragile is trying to do is avoid any bullet you *could* throw at him by flinging his entire AC behind you.

CUBE: Your review of my NEXT is 101% accurate. You did well in making it a boring informative, but at the same time, you are warning about the usage of this Armored Core. No one, except me, should pilot this thing without writing a last will or testament. If you like, you can forgo your humanity and be one with machine if desired.

When they say cyborg is it a transition error? Did they mean Android Like the how the androids in DBZ are really cyborgs Because when they say stuff like non human capability, cyborgs are still human. Maybe I’m just thinking about it the wrong way

Gross and one of my least favorite NEXTs. The model is very strange and most of its stats are terrible (looking at you arms). I experimented with it some to make a few odd builds and tried out the Fragile loadout myself, but this kind of glass cannon that depends on wearing down opponents instead of a 1:1 armor/damage trade just isn't for me. Also, beating Fragile in the arena was not very hard. I fought him with a medium-heavy squad build using sniper rifles, missiles, and Assault Armor. Although I ran out of ammo for my weapons quickly, I was able to plink down his AP very quickly, and when he ran out of ammo from being unable to deal any significant damage, I killed him with AA in only two bursts after a lengthy chase.

I know im late and idk if i still have my save but funny enough you CAN build this thing have infinite energy. it just require a lot work and tuning. One i have on save was basicly a work with other people see if we can make fastest with a lot energy recover. Sadly the cost of low hp require you play this VERY carefully as you put it and you need cant play energy with this build as well,
