Concerning the generator, I find myself running the VP-20D generator over the coral generators cuz of its flexibility. Cuz I often find myself on the ground with leftover EN, the faster EN recharge delay (of 1.33s with the alba core and 1.26s with the lamm core) allows me to recover EN more reliably. The VP-20D also has a decently high post-EN supply recovery of 1400 so I don't have to worry too much about returning to the ground after red-lining. Lastly it has the highest EN output at 4430 which gives an EN supply efficiency of 5933 with your build which is quite comfortable to work with!

I'll need to give that a try. A little on the heavy side but the tradeoff of a faster recharge seems worth it. I'm impatient on the ground and constantly redlining so coral works for me but that's also one of my skill issues lol.

This fashion and build are incredible! However, it really shows how much of an equalizer the stagger system is when it comes to PvP. That first match was a great example, your opponent made one slip up, and that costed him the whole round. Regardless, this build is still incredibly badass

Much appreciated! Yeah the stagger system can be wild at times. I wish ACs had more health to allow for a chance to turn the match around after a single combo. The one's I use in the video are pretty modest and allow a bit of time escape but something like a double shotgun to the face followed up by 2 fully charged laser cannons are pretty much effortless and can end the match in a couple of seconds. Ive been testing light weight builds lately, and seeing you use one. I wanted your opinion on laser drones with dual long pistols. Its been working so far. But i feel like the pistols arent as good as the rifles. Whats your thoughts

Dual Ducketts are pretty good, very similar to vientos with the caveat of their high recoil and short range. So you'll need to plan the build around those factors. Mainly the arms. I've had pretty good luck with the turner in one hand and Duckett in the other. Slightly less accumulative impact but more consistent since you're not reloading both weapons at the same time. I don't have much experience with the drones unfortunately but from playing against them they seem like a solid choice. Charging them and using as a stagger punish seems like a solid strategy in my experience.

​@DGENexMACHINA I didn't do too well with it in pvp. It's tailored for you so maybe I just need to get used to it. I seem to be favoring the NGI over Grid Walkers. I'm pretty sure I can make it work. The kit seems pretty flexible.

@@xephyrexe5246 yeah it requires some risky maneuvers and definitely requires some getting used to be able to read how to react correctly in certain situations. Running a non-standard lightweight in pvp is a tough task in general. I commend you for trying it out. 😊

The current build i tried working the slicer/harris into faced some issues. Namely, I tried running pulse blade + slicer, using the blade as approach + impact, with the Harris as followup into ACS overload. But the pushback of the Harris made it so it was required to do a QB while swapping melee into the slice, which gives the trainer AC plenty of time to recover and QB out every time. It seems perfectly possible for it to land, but the pushback and the delay in the slicer's wind up make the window extremely tight. Is there anything specific that you do to make it more consistant against lightweights? Or is it just a skill issue on my part? Lol

Much appreciated. 😊 Good question. I don't play double melee much so I'm not sure if it's possible. Switching melee weapons mid combo may be the culprit though. If I had to guess, equipping something on the back right that can extend your opponents stagger time after the Harris may work. (Trueno maybe?) Kind of want to test this myself... Edit: Yeah. I couldn't get it either. Firing a back weapon didn't help. Like you said the LS wind up is too long. Pulse Blade, charged shot into laser dagger does work though.

@@DGENexMACHINA hey, really appreciate you looking into it! Glad to know it wasn't just a skill issue on my part. Pretty much came to the same conclusion as you did, with it just being mostly the sluggishness of certain weapon switches. Dagger is great because it swaps quick and it's a dream with slicer, but the charge tracking is leagues less reliable than blade because of how horizontal it is. Haven't practiced much with slicer as main weapon with how open it leaves you, but that might be interesting. A REAL combo is explosive thrower into slicer. Oof is it sweet, but finding supporting weaponry has been a pain. Hard to keep light with explosive thrower range. Just FYI, everything that's a problem with these set ups is completely fixed with a Zimmer...but who wants to use that? It also really limits your range options and forces you completely close range, where Harris neatly takes care of that issue. It's really a pick your poison situation there : either reliable combos or being able to poke at range vs tanks/kites. I do wonder if you're on to something with extending staggers, maybe with something that innately stuns, like the electrify status. I also wonder if bazookas/grenade launchers have any effect on stagger duration. The last two might not matter either way because of how long it takes to leave firing stance. I'll look into it! Great stuff, man! Definitely look forward to following more of your vids! 😁 Edit: Misread PB as slicer for the dagger combo. Honestly that sounds dope, can't believe I haven't thought of that!

@@DGENexMACHINA So testing it out seems to show that for double melee, it isn't really possible to melee in, charge shot Harris, and then QB/ weapon swap into punish with any weapon that isn't bunker with kikaku slide. However, the build is still possible, as PB and LS both combo into each other seamlessly if you use either of their charged attacks to trigger ACS overload. It is also obviously possible to use Harris shot into melee punish, as shown in your video - you just can't switch during. Additionally, raw PB charge can lead to an LS punish, you just need to use regular Harris shots or shoulder weapon to trigger stagger into LS punish. For whatever reason, if you charge attack INTO charged Harris, every melee punish will always drop combo. Charged LS into Harris and then PB can punish, but only to finish off with the first hit and would be invalidated by terminal armor. The build would play less aggressive than yours, with ranged harras to build stagger into big combo punish approaches. Thank you so much for your help! 😊
