I could see how many would get thrown off by that considering how big they announced the cave update. Now last Minecraft Live was seen as incredibly anticlimactic.

I just wish we had some sort of shaders update to Minecraft that would make the lighting in the vanilla game look as gorgeous as these trailers. Spin-offs like Dungeons, Legends, and even Story Mode had their own default shader and actual luminescence. I think it’s about time Minecraft had this too.

@@JimmysDonutsmobile devices was the first versions of minecraft bedrock / pocket edition to have native support to shaders some years ago, but then mojang changed the render system and now you need a modified version of the app to run it, but still yes, they can run shaders lol, its not a 100% optimized so mojang didnt released, the deffered version graphics its only on the preview version but being tested and getting better and better every update, still not released to everyone

I'd recommend it! The best way to go about it, I think, would be to start a singleplayer survival world with as little information as possible, and to mess about with it on your own. There are *some* obscure things that gate off progression, so don't be afraid to ask around online if you feel stuck. You should be able to come up with your own solutions in most cases though. Feel free to also ignore this advice completely. There's many other ways to play the game (on a multiplayer server, in creative mode, with mods) so pick the one that feels right for you.

There is one called Fresh Animations on curseforge for Java edition. There is another one, also on curseforge, that makes it look kind of like the trailers.

It's an aesthetic choice. If you really dislike it, you could make a texture pack to change it.

That wouldn't be consistent with leather armour and leather horse armour; you can still tell those are leather when dyed because some parts stay brown. This doesn't matter as much for the wolf - it only has one armour type which can't be confused with anything else, no matter the colour - but on top of the other commentors' reasons, wolf armour changing at this point seems unlikely.

So instead of giving the turtle more functionality, you had to make the armadillo viable by doubling wolf base health and breaking the consistency of armor logic, all this while keeping the turtle obsolete

It would be nice if there was some sort of update to canyons that adds western towns. It would be a village, but western themed with building variants like saloons, jail, anything that would be in one. Maybe add horses too. There would be villagers with cowboy hats living in the town.
