Thats how hawaii guys are. Zero ego if we know we're better. If he knows he got you, he won't try to embarrass you, especially infront of a camer or other people. If he's stronger, he'll make it seem that its closer than it actually is. Only if you ask him to go all out, then he will. Especially true in practice or training with friends. But in a tournament, where others try to embarrass each other, its no holds barred.

Your certainly at a disadvantage than if you started earlier, but your definatly not too late in a sport like this one. Todd Hutchings was also in his 30's when he started to armwrestle, and look at what he has done for the past 10 years or so.

The genetics, passion and pure work he puts into this sport is extremely inspirational. Watching him arm wrestle is absolutely amazing. It’s watching the underdog still come up on top when hope looks like it’s not there. He can win against guys we know for a fact have other advantages than just hard work and consistency. In other sports (cough powerlifting cough strong man cough), naturals don’t stand a chance. It’s unbelievable to me this man can do what he does. He is gifted beyond a doubt. What an inspiration to watch.

Haven't been to your channel in a while. Funny I came across this, I actually armwresled this guy in Hawaii a few weeks ago. Super nice guy. He's strong but there are a few guys in Hawaii that would beat him. There's a guy there who was recently ranked #3 in Poland in the 78kg class who now lives there. Also there's a guy on Big Island who would wipe him clean, and one other 220 Ukrainian guy named Mykola Renista who I heard was one match away from qualifying for Top 8 several years ago. Pulled him last year in a HI tournament and have never felt an arm as strong as his.....in any weight class. I was shocked to find out there are so many absolute beasts in Hawaii.
