Weight helps a lot when it comes to back pressure and pressing strength for example. Even if strength remains you still will struggle against larger guys.

Why wouldnt he pull vitaly when he supposedly was number 1? Hes too weak for Vitaly simple. Hes a coward.

Difference is devon teaching shaw his technique and what he prefers not what he needs for armwrestling like he never once mentioned wrist curls/press/hook. Those things are the basics he only talked about top roll and wrist movement and the strap again his technique. Engin when he teach people is way different i think even pradeep is better than devon when it comes to armwrestling training.

Devon is teaching him to be versatile, and open other avenues to victory, that's exactly what he should be doing. Limiting yourself to one style in the long run is detrimental, it's better to be well rounded early than to play catch up with a move after you find someone that stops you in your strongest lanes.

Vitaly could have beaten Ermes if he pulled smarter, all he had to do was concede the rounds where he had the buckle. As for Dave, Vitaly absolutely dominated him, he was playing with Dave after the 4th round, rounds 5 and 6 were meaningless.

He wanted to test himself in the 5th and 6th round against Dave, so he allowed the strap and also allowed Dave to get into position. These were not "real" rounds at all, Vitaly could have smashed him whenever he wanted. That's the reason he challenged Jerry and Kamil, shortly after, he likes to test himself and he saw the shoulder/tricep press as one of his weaknesses. Vitaly had five matches in the last year. Clearly you're just a hater with this "he only competes once a year" nonsense. He also won 4 of those matches.
