I'm going to need psychological help going into today's military. Feels more like I'm going into a desk job at the office than fighting in a premier fighting force.

Depends on the mos. I've seen people complain about the wokeness and Leadership problems but how I think is Country over Politics. If someone genuinely wants to serve they shouldn't let the politics or leadership problems stop them from serving. The mission is still the same.

@Wade but the focus of the military has changed. It's focus should be on the fighting, not people's emotions and pleasing politicians. This is the death of a professional military when they lose sight of the role they sit in, focusing on woke politics is one of those issues.
