I really enjoyed the addition of the reference and literature, this is rarely mentioned, and I think that since their small little booklets packed with information is even better. Keep it up OO!

I am a medic and never heard of ready warrior till this video. Just ordered the NARC book and the medic book to take a look at. Knowledge is power

Good overview: Having that extra knowledge for when treatments slow down is extremely underrated! No reason you have to remember everything. The one skill you should be able to perform without references is a trauma assessment. Subscribed

Does this guy have his own channel? If not, he needs one. The reference material recommendations were the highlight of this video!

Great stuff! Which model pelican is that narc kit? Trying to pick one up that's the right size

Getting a solid case with padding for a narc kit seems surprisingly complicated lol

“It’s actually the North American rescue armadillo case. I prefer it over the pelican case because it has loop velcro lining the case and comes with little hook tabs you can put on your meds to keep them secure inside. The pelican just has foam padding so it’s kind of hard to secure anything without modding the inside of the case. www.narescue.com/armadillo-medication-storage-case.html Link for the armadillo with NSN”

What do you do for water? Im a medic too and usually just put a bottle in my pocket or just go without depending on what were doing

“With an issued plate carrier like an IOTV or MSV I would clip the issued bladder to my kit and just wear my aid bag over it. My aid bag would kind of flop over to one side and it was sort of annoying but you can have a canteen (or nalgene pouch if your CoC allows it) on your kit. On deployment I just had a nalgene or water bottles in my cargo pockets or my dump pouch but I’m with Ozark in the sense that you should be carrying at least 1.5-2L of water on you.”

@@OzarkObjective i appreciate it, im mechanized so im usually not far from my truck so having a waterbottle in my pocket is usually enough until we get back to the truck, but going airborne soon and need to figure out something for longer durations

I molled a bladder pouch to my airbag. It worked pretty well over the years I was in

I'm an EST Medic and since I'm never far from vehicles or civilian places I usually just carry a 16oz water bottle on my belt in an arbor arms stowable bottle pouch (they're fantastic) and then carry more water in the vehicles. Before that when I worked with the Army I used to just throw one or two 16oz in my cargo pocket but that wasn't as ideal

@@jgutormson2270 I was an armor infantry medic and then went light infantry as well and what i generally did was keep a 3L bladder in my aidbag, and a 1L bottle on my vest.
