OVER COUNTDOWN

Het Nederlandse televisieprogramma "Countdown" was van 1976 t/m 1993 “Europe’s Number 1 Rock Show” en werd uitgezonden bij Veronica. Later werd het programma ook uitgezonden in het buitenland en was het op z'n hoogtepunt in meer dan 20 landen op televisie te zien.
Gedurende deze 17 jaar muziekgeschiedenis zijn er opnames gemaakt met talloze internationale sterren, zoals Paul McCartney, David Bowie, Tina Turner, Janet Jackson, Stevie Wonder, The Rolling Stones, George Harrison, U2, The Police, Eric Clapton, Bruce Springsteen, Lenny Kravitz, Depeche Mode, New Order, Whitney Houston, Duran Duran, R.E.M., Frankie Goes To Hollywood, The Cure, Run DMC, Cyndi Lauper, Iron Maiden, New Kids On The Block, LL Cool J.
Uiteraard kwamen Nederlandse top-acts als Doe Maar, Andre Hazes, Herman Brood, Frank Boeijen, Spargo, Golden Earring, Time Bandits, De Dijk, De Raggende Manne, Hans de Booij, Gerard Joling, Drukwerk ook langs voor een optreden in Bussum.
Countdown werd gepresenteerd door oa Lex Harding, Erik de Zwart, Adam Curry, Simone Walraven Wessel van Diepen, Jeroen van Inkel, Rob Stenders, Simone Angel en Jasper Faber.
Het Countdown archief is vrijwel helemaal compleet en sinds 2017 eigendom van het Amerikaanse Reelin’ In The Years Productions (David Peck - reelinintheyears.com/) en Double 2 Hilversum (Jan Douwe Kroeske - www.double2bv.nl). Het archief bestaat uit meer dan 3.000 analoge mastertapes die allemaal gedigitaliseerd en gearchiveerd zijn. Right. Only Alexander Bard was able to sing something on his own. But in the first two albums, Bard sang in only four songs. Their voices are not in this choir. This is sung by professional singers specially hired by the producer to create hits and promote this project. The soloists' own voices were too weak for this purpose.

@@sophiepooks2174no. It's not just on this program. They have never performed live, as they are vocally unprofessional people. They are comedy artists who are not capable of playing their own songs live, since half of their songs or the whole song can be sung by people who are not part of the group. They lied in the album annotations that it was "backing vocals" in order to intentionally hide the fact that their own voices were missing from this choir.

While La Camilla was in the group, paired with Jean-Pierre, they both did shows in the music videos and on the stage. Bard is a talented guy, but as an actor he loses slightly against the background of La Camilla and Jean-Pierre. Anyone could have been in his place, in the music videos and on the stage. It's a shame that Bard removed La Camilla from the band. He did this because of his zealous attitude towards the attention of the public to La Camilla. All these stories about the inappropriate behavior of La Camilla in public due to the use of alcohol and other laughing means are not credible. The lack of pragmatism of the producer of the group, who allowed La Camilla to leave, led to a complete fiasco of the group on the stage. La Camilla is a gorgeous actress, and paired with Jean-Pierre, this whole phonogram farce looked like a musical theater in the music videos and on the stage, but they never performed their songs live on the stage. So. Here, on TV, this phonogram farce is still permissible, but at their solo concerts they always had to say all their spoken parts live, and the choir of guest singers, to whose voices they constantly opened their mouths, had to stand with them on the stage and sing their parts live. As a result, their performances are a complete prop. The blame for this, first of all, is the production team, which constantly saved on a good concert show, and the soloists of the group, who were unable not only to sing on the stage, but even to read their endless recitatives live.

I immediately told you - the real reasons for your ignorant "criticism" are your personal envy of the popularity of AoL and resentment at Alexander for firing Camilla. Everything else is a crooked rationalization. Alexander is absolutely not an envious person, these are his own words. He considers envy to be the worst human quality. He was definitely frustrated by Camilla's behavior, it wasn't envy. If someone's star fever is unpleasant to a person, it doesn't mean that he's jealous of their fame. He made it clear he's agoraphobic, he doesn't like being a central character on stage, he doesn't like being a frontman. Tho he's definitely ambitious in a good sense, as far as I see, but this has nothing to do with show-off. You said the reasons of Camilla's firing aren't your business, but "her and Alexander's personal business". Your word is worth nothing, you quietly edit and delete comments you're ashamed of. I'm pointing it out again.

You can't objectively judge someone's acting skills because you're not an expert, while Alexander has a drama education. You even don't know the definition of "synthetic arts". These your words are a rationalization of the impression "I like the charisma of that beautiful woman". Objectively, you don't feel the charisma of the other band members, besides JP and La Cam. Moreover, you've got confused in "your professional" basic musical terms, you couldn't clearly say how "voice type" (refers to "vocal range", tho it's connected to timbre) differs from "timbre". While vocal techniques aren't timbres. You can't blame and "shame" artists, building on your subjectivity.

I have not discussed the difference between vocal techniques and singing timbre with you. I only explained to you what the main vocals are and what the backing vocals are. Why are you lying now?
