Army is not paid as per their hard work and risk ....however IAS IPS IFS are paid at a much higher grade and also njoy other incomes & privileges that we all know. Eq allowance in Kashmir for Army is 20,000 but for IAS IPS it's 50,000 approx. Secondly promotions in Army is very slow n time taking. Which has affects on payment too. However in IPS IAS IFS all the persons who are inducted reach the top ranks. Army persons can't keep family with them at most of the places however on the other hand IAS IPS IFC can keep families and also njoy the privileges of free Cars n accommodation everywhere they go or holiday. When Civil Authorities are incapable to handle situation then also Army is called to control the situation. We have seen many times in past. That's the unfair n injustice with Defense Forces of India. Seeing the risk & hard life of Army Navy Airforce..... our Defence forces deserve more privileges, promotions & financial benefits rather than IAS IPS IFS. Pls think about it & request the Indian Govt to identify the actual heroes of this Nation. Jai Hind

There is no match to AIS as far as power, prestige, perks, autonomy, and responsibility are concerned. The defense services can never match AIS in these aspects. The profession of arms values obedience, since unity of purpose & action is of essence during war. A highly agile & active minds thinks for itself, and is likely to be a misfit in the culture of armed services that values conformity and obedience over originality, conceptual ability and creativity. Highly intelligent, creative, rational people with a mind of their own are likely to be misfits in the Army.
