I really love Exo. They are so talented and unique. Sometimes people in Korea underpreciate them just because they are from big company and having handsome looks. It's glad to see they got preciated by non Koreans. :-)

when it comes to sing writing and sm ent, it's usually like that: idols as well as producers can write lyrics but those will then be judged without consideration of who wrote them and the best lyrics get chosen, so when an idol is actually featured as a writer too that means their lyrics were better than what the others came up with. sm is focused on producing the best music rather than the most personal music, however they do let their artists write their own sons too, Jonghyun was the best example, he even wrote songs for other people bc he was soo good at it

Right now the only decent full group guide for Exo that I’ve seen that’s recent is Exo, a 2019 guide it’s around 30 min long. It’s not a full deep dive but it’s at least helpful and simple to understand for newcomers

One of the reasons Kris and Luhan left bec SM wont give them artistic freedom. Remember Lay's first ever self-composed Promise he had to beg several times but still got rejected but he didnt give up until they gave him a shot thanks to the manager.. Even now he's doing his own SM still has to approve his works. Im just happy they get to participate in song writing. Maybe it's good to also include their latest projects in musical, drama, station songs, etc. Xiumin's and Suho's musical are fire.

I am Korean Army, and also like Exo as they were really huge in Korea and the best vocal group that ive known of. But i did not really know this much details of history and individual character that you put into the introduction video. I do love it, but just let you know i have seem many reaction videos and notice that some of reaction youtubers do not really carefully read the subtitle or the video explanation as per they are not really use to read it while watching video. So i highly recommend to add audio explanation as you just did it to your friend and me :) Also, I love your voice tone when you explain. I can see how much you love EXO and your voice is very clean and make me focus. 감사합니다.

But her lyrics have been denied because SM picked Chen's lyrics. (He also wrote lyrics for the song, lol, you know, sm thing) ae na admitted that Chen is one of the best producer among the idols in SM. So we are changing the name of KIM Jongdae to KING Jongdae. Sorry for my bad English

I love someone mentioning Chen's low notes!!! He can sing anything and any genre beautiful.. I find his low notes the most beautiful... he's got a very soulful voice too if the song needs it. Maybe you could add more clips of covers and collabs of our 3 main vocals? I just think they're always type cast... always getting same parts in EXO songs...you really only hear another side on some b-sides. But the covers they did over the years really show a different side of them

Hello Anitra! Thank you for introducing us to the world of EXO, they are so adorable and sweet that you cannot just pass by them and not be melted! As an Army myself I do appreciate all their efforts and their talent and I would love that they would have more freedom to write their own music and do what they want to do with their life (especially when it comes to dating) but I guess that will come with time and the support of their fans (of that's what I hope at least). I believe my favorite is Baekhyun and then Suho, Chanyeol and Sehun... in that order and is not because of looks or talent but because of personality and perhaps compatibility I think (they are all talented and handsome actually). I really hope you continue the guide. What you have so far looks like it would be a great asset for new people looking into the group. Idk if you had any intention of having a segment after the member introductions for additional group information, but if so then a note about Xiumin/D.O having already enlisted and other member(s) expected to enlist could be in that. That being said, I don't really know if their enlistments are vital information to include in a guide since it doesn't really affect their personalities or skills and would easily become out-dated information.

So far, you've done a good job for the guide! I do have some suggestions while watched along with you. It would be very clear and nice for whoever comes across your guide if you include syllable/pronunciation to words such as EXO (ex-o) as well as explain how it would be syllabling out when uses in the song or chanting, SUHO (soo-ho), SEHUN (sae-hoon), D.O. (dee-o) and etc. Or better yet if you include audio pronunciation of their names in it! As far as until Xiumin: - please slow down the speed to your slower reading speed...you read it too fast for the viewers especially foreigners and the last I've seen every guide had done the same whenever the members' name is identified on the screen - PLEASE do it individually on their picture moment. It's always confused the viewers that new to the group to try to figure it out which is the person and name - includes info that you're explaining to your friend such as what show is it/ The part that Chen sang a female key, generally just includes information that you've to explain to your friend so others would get to know that as well...

I know how famous they were before but maybe because I'm too into A1, Westlife, Backstreet boys, NSYNC and Savage Garden. A lot of high school students before talk about EXO but I really don't care about them. I just knew about them 2 years ago and I learn not just to like them but to love them as well. They were really good at dancing and singing. The vocals of EXO is insane. Most of them can sing. I really regret not putting attention to them before. ❤️❤️❤️
