Boracity makes a valid point because she's critiquing the phenomena of BTS reactors who are there to use ARMY'S to build their channel and just do so many videos at a time without respecting BTS. But there are some ARMY'S who just fawn over the reactors disregarding the disrespect shown. And there are also some reactors who look like they are just taking advantage of ARMY's and pandering to them. Boracity is just pointing out that ARMY needs to be wary and mature, understanding the nature of KZfaq where you dont know who these people are.

I mean she was right that BTS reactions get subs, but as you said, you just kinda got here without really knowing that. I also started watching you from your other reactions, because you're just here for the ride and you'll react to smaller groups/videos as well and always have at least some level of input/personality added. Even reacting to this and giving your thoughts is what makes this channel better than a lot of other kpop reaction channels (especially the massive ones that use BTS/Blackpink just for more engagement and don't really care what they're watching, as long as it's a guaranteed 100k views) But yeah I really appreciate her video because it points out so many issues I have with any content relating to kpop on KZfaq. So much misinformation and soulless reactions that have no meaning. Yet they all thrive just from either controversy or including a big group's name. So annoying. (although I will say I'm not sure how I feel about what they said about streaming. I don't like streaming music unless I actually like it, and I only watch the MV multiple times if I enjoy it a lot. Seb, you don’t talk or pause too much. There are other channels that do it constantly. So you are okay in my opinion. There are a lot of channels that are fake af and distasteful. They just see an opportunity to get paid using K-pop when they could care less about it.

I can't get into anyone who doesn't have real love for the artist or who is really interested in getting to know an artist. I found a couple that really love BTS and you can tell how excited they get for the music. You can really tell who loves the group compared to clout chasing. There's a ton of reaction channels that only start reacting to BTS because they know there will be gullible armys subbing to them. Just say basic compliments and you have your desired numbers. And it always starts with BTS, then branches off to the next big fandom group and k-pop in general. They just want their numbers. I personally think I'm a pretty good judge of character when it comes to reactions. One particular channel who used to be genuine has changed a lot since getting to meet a few idols (seb reacted to one of their videos too). They do not care, it shows, and it could very easily be due to pressure, but i can't stand them anymore. The only reaction videos i watch nowadays are seb, nsd and itsandyandjas (they deep dive into lyrics which i like). ALSO there's a reaction channel who's very Oli London coded. I have his channel blocked and yt still sometimes shows me his videos 😠 Also i think there should be a difference between BTS yt and k-pop yt. But anyways, seb you're doing great! Fck the fake edits channels. People actually believe that! Edits and compilation channels are the best.

This may just be my opinion, but even though Twitter is very informed and very fast with accurate information regarding all bts news, that app is a shit show. I had it for a while and nobody there has common sense. It’s just a whole bunch of ‘Army’s’ hating on other groups and sending them death threats, and then when they get confronted they turn it around and blame other fandoms. I don’t want to associate myself with those kinds of people. The toxicity on that app outweighs the pros of live translations, and accurate information. I deleted that app ages ago. IMO I think that TikTok is the best app for Armies rn. The fans there are normal and it’s all about vibes and having fun. And although we don’t have specific accounts regarding new information, many people spread news very fast and it isn’t difficult to catch up. Plus we can interact together on there and very thing. KZfaq is a bit messy…the funny videos are good but it’s easy to get misinformed on here.

Ok I was hesitant on saying this and hopefully this is a safe space but I don’t stream a lot. For certain artists I stream it a bit but initially I don’t really stream. Does that make me not a fan? Because I love kpop artists but I dont stream the music all the time. Most of the time, I watch the music video at least twice or more and then move on to other things like reactions. But Seb, do you think I can’t be considered an army or Kpop fan is I don’t stream alot? Also I will refrain from watching the lyric videos for MVs but what about the B sides? I don’t really know where to get the translations unless it’s on KZfaq. Plus Spotify does not always add the subtitles for B side songs.

I felt like the part where she is "warning" Army's from watching channels that watch multiple groups is peak solo Stan behavior. People can have many different music tastes and Stan multiple groups heck I like over 20. Watching reactions from the same people to many groups that I like feels nice. Just because you only like one group DOES NOT mean that others can't have the right to watch other groups. BTS introduced many people to KPOP and now they should have the right to venture out to other groups. Just because she doesn't that doesn't mean that the others are terrible fans. The whole "these things are distracting you from streaming" is honestly just cultish behavior. Streaming isn't the only duty of a K-pop fan heck it shouldn't even be a duty. People should be allowed to like a group without the pressure of "stream or you're not a fan." That's dumb and this same attitude is the reason why I just feel like I am starting to hate BTS content. I really appreciate the multifandom reactors, I am a multistan so it’s nice to have all the reactions in one place. I follow a few multifandom reactors and will never follow any solo Stan reactors. It’s entirely an opinion of the audience whether solo or multifandom reactors are best. Seb’s account isn’t just a reaction account as he starts conversations and also highlights problematic behaviour/content released in the community posts. Two of the other people I subscribed to don’t only react to KPOP even, they have their own content and also react to different music/games. Suppose people only see it as in issue if they’re a solo BTS Stan, but the only problem I have is when reactors are paid by companies to give a good reaction their group. Don’t know why people take being a fan so seriously, it’s not a job, just enjoy content as content without feeling guilty about ANYTHING. I have the lyric videos in my playlists more than the MV’s because a lot of Kpop songs have breaks in the music where they do their acting stuff for the storyline, which I don’t want to listen to when I’m listening to my playlist. If they released official lyric videos I would add them instead, but they don’t so therefore I will continue to use the ones available. Views aren’t the be all and end all

Twitter is really a shitshow. I saw a tweet some months ago that legit said that they genuinely wished harm on the members of Blackpink because they released a song on the same day as BTS. and NO JOKE right under that tweet, another person said that they hate multis and basically said some really horrible things about us because our music taste is very broad and we don’t stick to JUST BTS. These tweets had thousands of likes and hundreds of replies saying the same things. That was the day I decided to delete twitter cause i genuinely can’t find a single person with common sense on that app. most of army twitter is exclusively there just to trash talk other groups and then get mad when other fandoms confront them about it then they switch the story around to make the other party look bad (not every time though). The way im a BTS ult and yet most of the time I can’t stand my own fandom 🤦🏻‍♀️ also the “first time reacting to” thing a lot of the time i would take that as them reacting to that specific song for the first time but i guess that’s not the case.

I don't think watching the lyrics videos is something bad. You just have to listen to the official video and then I watch the lyrics one to at least understand what they are talking about. Then I go to a place where they have the actual meaning of the song.
