When I built my deck with this commander I found that aspect of Lamprey and Strands of Undeath let you make your opponent discard there hand.

Got a pack, pulled this. Was disappointed at first, now I’m in love. She’s my next deck and the second commander I have ever played that’s not pre constructed

I'd suggest Arcanum Wings. It has aura swap for 2 and a blue, you can swap the token copies with an aura in your hand and cheat out expensive ones.

I think all Totem armor (or now called Umbra armor) cards are really scary with this commander. Making extra copies of them makes it very difficult to get rid of it.

Saw Arna and right away I'm like yup that's going to be my next commander when the set come out! I only build decks when the commander really draws my attention and I think I can get her ready for MagicCon Vegas!

Kamigawa recofigure creatures. They can swap between creature and equipment form, giving you flexibility in the early game for creatures then swapping to equipment when you have better threats and can double them. And then siphon them off for free creatures every turn. Also helm of the host is insane. Because it triggers at the beginning of combat you can make a copy of Arna then attack and make a copy of helm (assuming you have a legend rule ignorer like mirror box) twice because of the double triggers. And it just snowballs from there. Imagine making 3 then 6 copies of all the glitters over 2 turns in addition to everything else. Then you can move the extra around to have an absolutely massive board state

I want to build this commander with a mixture of the auras and equipment, using Ratonhnhake:ton from Assassins Creed as like a backup/secret commander for the deck.

Planning to add this card into my Eriette Beguiler deck, to make sure they dont remove auras and take back their cards . 😁

Nice ideas for a new commander that looks like a lot of fun - just wanted to mention that you maybe overlooked the fact that Sword of the animist as a legendary equipment cannot really be copied by Arna - I brewed the deck and realized that that’s basically a small (but very fair) restriction on the equipments you can play because of the legendary rule

I added Lucille and Nazgul Battlemace to the deck, than realized Lucille is Legendary but you know what isn't? The Nazgul Battle Mace, super recommend it for Arna and stack your triggers!... one more: Eldrazi Conscription ;p

Legendary artifacts won't be blowing up, I guess that's the only limitation of this busted commander.

I was curious weather effects from artifacts like “Living weapon” or Barbed spike would attach themselves to tokens when they get copied or not

is this better than three dog? seems like three dog goes really wide, maybe they are just too different to compare

Why not just run the mirror box and similar cards to bypass legends rules?

i think wotc forgot about mutate
