He plays great football against teams that leave lots of spaces but he struggles a lot against very organised teams . For example he lost against Mourinho's Roma both in the conference league final and a heavy 4-1 defeat in the Europa league quater final So In the PL I can see him struggling at first against teams that are great in counter attack

I fear we could be getting Ten Haag 2.0. There hasn’t been a successful Dutch manager in any of the big leagues for a very long time and Slot hasn’t really achieved that much to say he is a Liverpool class boss. When I hear rumours he is trying to buy players from his current club to Liverpool, I am worried he is making the same mistakes as Ten Haag bringing lower quality Dutch league players to the Premier League. I am hope I am wrong but I am very pessimistic about this appointment

people shouldn't judge because they don't know this manager well, wait till the end of his second season with the club, Liverpool should aim for a good run in the UCL next season and top 4 and that's it for his 1st season in charge. anything else would be a bonus, Slot needs 3 good transfer windows to get the players he wants.

Arne Slot has been the best Coach Feyenoord ever had. The club had no money when he arrived, he maneged to build a team with cheap players which became desired players. At the end of the first year with a Conference leage final as a result. He saw his key players leave. Yet he managed to become champion. And make it to quarter finals europaleage . All that with very exiting footbal. Good thing is, he is speaking English far better than Ten Hag, Koeman and Van Gaal.

The timing of Klopps announcement to leave was perfect. Gave the club sufficient time to plan ahead which wouldn't have been the case if he'd done it at the end of the season. Losing a manager like Klopp is sad but there's a feeling of optimism about the new structure under FSG.

Before that we battered Sparta prague 11-2 on aggregate, lifted a trophy with kids, beaten Arsenal at the Emirates and league form was solid. Didn't last the distance because we kept losing important players like Alisson, Jota and Trent to injury.

I’ve seen the Dutch interview in which he confirms it. He also added that it’s not the time for elaborate presentations and stuff because Jürgen is still there and he deserves the farewell attention for the amazing job he has done.

I'm not sure we can tell what his calibre really is..the Dutch league cannot be compared to the PL and nobody..not one manager I can think of can fill big Jurgens shoes so I'm really apprehensive about it..Jamie Carragher called Arne Slot just a yes man for Michael Edwards who will wield the real power over transfers etc now that our beloved Klopp has gone..I feel its going to be a huge period of transition now..but no matter what we thank you Jurgen Klopp and we always look forward so ❤YNWA❤

Who says he's just third choice? What nonsense! Of course Alonso was first choice, for obvious reasons but Amorim was just rumours. If they had wanted him, they would certainly have got him.
