In Slot We Trust at Feyenoord so we're sad to see him go. But he deserves it and we thank him for the last three years which were something else. I've never seen Feyenoord play better than the way we did in the last three years (since 1988, my first home match attending). He will be missed. Thankfully he's on his way to Liverpool, my favourite club outside of The Netherlands. Support him, you won't be disappointed.

It's going to be very strange not having Klopp at the helm next season but who ever we bring in will have my support 👍

As a Dutchman and Feyenoord supporter I can say that Slot is a great coach and communicator who can make players better. He's the best Dutch manager since LVG. I like Liverpool and although I'm sad that Slot is leaving us, at least he's going to a great 'people's' club, that is very much comparable to Feyenoord. He'll be doing great! The best thing that ever happened to Feyenoord, I'm 42 years old and I've never seen them play as good as last 3 years. Also the beef with Simeone & Mourinho was interesting to see, they were annoyed by his skills and Feyenoord's strong play. Like many people from Rotterdam I am a dedicated Liverpool Supporter, Im sure he will do great and you guys will love him. Not easy to follow up Klopp but I think he will do great. Cheers!

Our saying for a couple of years has been “in Slot we trust”. I can truly recommend it to all Liverpool supporters. There is no doubt in my mind that he’ll bring big (new) successes to Liverpool. And we’ll be following it closely! YNWA

He will do really well at Liverpool

Dutch and English are very similar languages if you listen to Dutch you can pretty much listen and decipher which word it is in English.

Slot his strength has been his amazing capacity to play beautiful high pression football and buying players that fits perfectly into that system , i see a lot of people hating without even knowing him but with a budget that Liverpool has I'm 95% he will succeed. ETH is a whole different trainer , slot has always been different. His playstyle is way more advanced and 99% of the Netherlands loved watching his tactics and adaptability. I have seen people say stuff about his lack of leadership and charisma but i think 100% of the Netherlands can agree that the way he speaks and present himself is pure class and leadership. I think Slot will easily succeed at Liverpool so stop trying to talk smart if u have no idea what coach he is! People actually compare him with Guardiola because of how smart he and his team behind him is.

(me mistaking Feye for PSV-part deleted) It's a very different football style compared to Klopp's idea, but maybe the right next evolution step, and hopefully a nicer person than Tuchel, who successfully followed him twice before, too. Still, you'll always miss Kloppo, no matter how much games you win afterwards, that's a Dortmund fan speaking from experience.

I've always admired the Liverpool fans' support for their manager. Kinda sad that Klopp didn't win more trophies. I'm a Real Madrid fan and I still wouldn't have minded if they had won one of those CL finals. Especially the first one which Ramos ruined with his act.

He’s quite witty and has very decent English language skills. Very similar to Klopp in that respect, and I understand he plays heavy metal football as well but with a Dutch spin. If the deal is happening I’m actually excited to see him come to Liverpool.

Would be sad to see him leave at our beloved Feyenoord, a club who was in need of a man with vision. Slot made Feyenoord re-enter the mainstage in the Dutch League. Feyenoord fans re-joyed due to Arne. Slot would suit Liverpool well and we wish him the best. I hope he will join Liverpool but he could also run a club like Barcelona. Don't under-estimate Arne Slot.

He has made a big impression at Feyenoord in the last 3 years with 2 prizes. He makes players better, they are much fitter. He always has his say in the media and is very intelligent in his answers. When Slot is thinking, he usually picks his ear or nose or first takes a sip of water. Too bad he's leaving us, but I hope you have fun. I wish all the fans of Liverpool great succes the next season.

If it happens I'm on board. YNWA. Exciting times and in my opinion a new fresh start is is something that might be needed. In order to refresh the club, players and even the fans. New approaches, new ideas, new eyes on the Liverpool squad and academy players. Change and a new mind with something to prove can bring an appetite and motivation in the way the hungry young player does. As a lifetime Feyenoord fan I hate to see him go - but he deserves it and I wish him the absolute BEST with you guys at Anfield. This is a smart, stubborn, well spoken, EXTREMELY meticulous (yet team-player) coach that will a) get along perfectly fine with all the usual pressure (off pitch) that comes from being at one of the greatest clubs in the world. b) get along perfectly with the "powers to be" within overal club management. c) get along with the players because of his honest and clear communication. None of that ETH weirdness in him at all. Klopps´ boots are certainly hard to fill but I have absolute fath that your new leader will get sh*t done and improve Liverpool even further!

Besides, never understood Sir Alex Ferguson without subtitles either. I’m Dutch so that says a lot but mostly managers from Italy, Spain etc coming new in the BPL are even harder to understand in English than Slot here? He is better than Ten Hag in his leadership and I am an Ajax supporter. Even we are very impressed by his work. Liverpool is a beautiful club, I really hope this will be a great match. The Dutch need some extra influence on world football because we are not the force we once were.

Liverpool is taking a huge gamble with this slot.

The most important thing about Slot needs to be that he is a very very good coach. He doesn't have to have the grand father personality of Jurgen because its actually not necessary. Jurgen has things about him that are not necessarily needed to make us a winning team. Id prefer a good coach who maybe has more ideas than even Jurgen, than the personality of Jurgen. I like the look of Arne. We have Edwards and Hughes to run the club. Arne just needs to be a more expansive version of Pep Lijnders.

He gives me Klopp vibes in the open way he speaks and his confidence in doing so, very different from the cold and calculating character of someone like Ten Hag. I've never broken up with a woman, as I married the love of my life I started dating in High School, but I do feel Klopp leaving us will be as close as I get. And while it'll hurt, I choose 2 things.
