@@willvr4 They're not the same. Each brand is different. And black comedy showcases are released all the time (including All Star, which happens every year), so if we're talking about bringing back a nondescript black comedy show, there's no need. They never left. Just push play.

Yeah exactly. Like Rodney is what the jokes are based on, but he's not the butt of them. Important distinction and that's why he can do stuff on matter like that and it still be funny and not feel like someone is getting ganged up on or something.

One of my favorite things about Arnez is that he promises something is gonna be funny by laughing when he's telling it and it actually turns out to be true. How rare is it for someone to laugh at their own jokes and they're actually funny? 😂 He's one of the GOATs for sure!

Arnez J has been around since at least the early 90s. Used to watch him (and laugh my stone ass off) on ComicView on BET back then. The goofy moves and him cracking at his own jokes were a thing then, too, and also what helped to make him hysterical to see. Y'all are getting quite the comedic education from here in the US! Keep it up! 🤣

@@ivanaferria2011 It wasn't uncut early Def Jam (for obvious network tv reasons) but Comic View had some legends come through there. DL, Arnez, Sommore, Renaldo Ray, Ricky Smiley, Earthquake, Bruce Bruce, the list goes on and on. IMDB does it justice.

I saw this guy live 3 times and planning a fourth. He's that good. The problem is, during a live show you can't pause. So I would sit there with a massive headache from laughing to hard. He doesn't recycle jokes either so it's a different experience every time

His physical comedy and timing are spot on!!! He's sooooooooo physically convincing and practiced, yet not insulting because clearly he loves his brother and he's not the kind of guy who would let you feel sorry for him. This is brilliant and anyone who decides to be offended, go talk to Rodney and see how far you get! What an amazing talent and tribute to his brother. LOVE THIS!

I know I have suggested him a couple of times with links along with a few others many people don't know outside of the black community because they never went mainstream and they were before KZfaq and social media. If they came out today, they would be killing it! I'm glad you finally got around to watching Arnez. Arnez is one of MANY hidden black comedians out here who will have you dying laughing, drooling on yourself and almost peeing. Virtually NOBODY is reacting to these comedians if anybody. I'll leave you guys some more soon. This isn't De Comedy Jam though, this is Shaqs All Stars show he puts on during the NBA All-Star Weekend. You should find Arnez's Def Comedy Jam bit's, they are hilarious. Also his BET Comic View bits. I may have linked them in one of my past comments to you.

I absolutely love Arnez J. I have had the pleasure of seeing him live and I laughed from start to finish. I have never had a comedian make me laugh and the entire crowd laugh from start to finish and his crowd engagement was hilarious and spot on. He is definitely one if you can catch him somewhere make sure to go. You won’t regret it.

I think it's funny. It's what comedy is all about. Making light or fun of ourselves our behaviors. I have 2 sons with Autism. One is high functioning and one low functioning. It's hysterical 🤣 we have to make light of things. In a tasteful way. And this guy can do that. It's his own brother. 😅

Yay! You guys finally checked him out. Now you guys have to watch that Chris Tucker video where he does a sketch of Michael Jackson if he was a p.imp. But Arnez J is really well known with black folks in part because he was on Def Comedy Jam and the B.E.T. show ComicView (both of which are hilarious and did comedy they're not really doing anymore, stuff that would get them into trouble today). Y'all should check out the video where he wears the yellow shorts (he's even more physical than Katt but equally or slightly more hilarious). Also, where he wears the green pants and talks about black people dancing.
