@doloresschultz8393 , I have to respectfully disagree. Some of the songs sound so much better with Bills Voice as well. Bill was/is amazing in his own right. I am not downing Bobby in anyway, seperately they were amazing, but, the sound they created together placed them in a whole nother league.

They had three big hits in this vein, You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin', You're My Soul and Inspiration, and this one, Just Once In My Life. Lovin' Feelin' at one time was the most-played single in the history of radio and is undoubtedly their biggest hit. But it can't stand up to this one in my opinion. When Bill says "Just do this for me!" and Bobby (controllably) screams "BABY"!!! that's the end of it right there as far as I'm concerned.

I grew up (born in 1955) with an older sister who attended the Beatles concert at the Hollywood Bowl...she exposed me to so many riches in the incredible world of '60's music... I really don't know how to express to my kids or grand kids what the music of that era meant and still means.. The Righteous Brothers..... listening to them (again and again) brings me to my knees in gratitude for their talent. I only hope that each of them, in this world or the next, know how much they are valued.

My senior year we had dances during lunch hour and one of my guy pals asked me to dance to Little Latin Lupe Lou. Boy! Everyone was surprised at all my Shindig moves! That was 1965 and 20 years later at the high school reunion everyone still remembered shy little Anna dancing in the middle of the of the dance floor. Lol! Great music and great memories!
