So we do meal plans in my home as well; but I HATE setting certain meals to certain days (like you said, it feels so permanent lol). So what we do is make a list of meals and then we pick day of or night before what we will have for dinner, and just cross off as we go! That way there’s still some sort of plan but we aren’t committed to making it on a specific day if we have a taste for something else!

One of my "chores" when I was little was folding laundry... my dad used to do several loads early on a Saturday morning (my mom was handicapped so he would take up the slack on the weekends to help her) and I would sit in front of the TV folding it while I watched Saturday morning cartoons. It's a good "skill" for kids to learn!

Kids playroom artwork.... Buy a pack (or 4) of blank arteza canvas panels (the thin ones are best) and have the kids paint or decorate... Even visitors and adults can add to your "gallery". You can punch holes in them so they link and hang a string of them together from up high with removable hooks

I have always had the same problem with my nail polish chipping right away and I too always felt it was a waste of time until recently (I do my own nails) I have found that if I use Sally Hansen double duty base and top coat on my nails, apply the polish, then top the nail polish with two applications of the same double duty base and top coat my nail polish holds up until they actually grow out at the base. So excited to share this with you.

How I meal plan-- I write down all the meals for 2 weeks, and I buy the groceries needed for those (I may make a trip or two for fresh produce when needed, but I try to keep my trips limited. ) From there, if that meal doesn't sound good or doesn't happen to work with our schedule that night, I shuffle them around as needed. But at least I have a plan and the ability to execute that plan (having the groceries needed on hand lol).

Have you thought about getting a little dry erase board for your weekly menu? I found a cute one at five below and OMG it really works! My husband and I have been keeping up with our menu going on 3 weeks now 🙌 it really helps to see it in the kitchen. 2.
