Each week we offer our students a Livestream Q&A where they get to deep dive into all things music with an expert in the craft.
This week we had one of our world-renowned mentors, Horace Brey show us some amazing tips on how to approach, understand, and apply arpeggios and voice leading principles on guitar.
If you don't know Horace, he's a guitarist, singer, and producer based in LA.
After graduating from the University of North Texas in 2015 Horace moved to NYC to hone his skills as songwriter and sideman.
In addition to performing his own music Horace has played for India Arie, Jordan Fisher, Taylor Dayne, Sofia Carson, Sam Fischer, John Splithoff, Michael Blume, and Abir.
This is just a small excerpt from the class but it's filled with tips that will really help you design an exercise to improve the technique and add some diversity to your practice.
