He also needs to try to get a job to provide for the child and stay sober and out of prison so he can really have it together to be a good time model in the child's life. Priorites... I can see from comments people have such low standards for our children that they're impressed with any man doing the bare minimum to spend a few minutes with them and don't even care how he shows up, if he has his shii together, if he's sober, if he's a good or bad influence... Quality of the parent doesn't seem to matter when it's a father, but the fame people have so much to say to judge the mothers as if only mothers need to be good parents, but fathers can be bad parents just as long as they show any interest at all. Smdh.

I’m willing to bet that since she was a correctional officer she like to pick fights with him due to her training & one day he grabbed her & told her to stop & she ran out trying to be a victim. Sadly that mess happens more often than folks think.

And that’s why his silly behind pled guilty because he should have left her ass. If a woman picks fights constantly a man should be smart enough to leave because grabbing her won’t end well for him smh just like women have to take accountability for dealing w violent men , men have to take accountability for dealing with toxic women over and over

Dame was working corrections & was fired for smuggling & selling contraband to inmates, you don’t think she was gonna lie to cover up actions on other things?

Mathis attitude throughout this case right from the very beginning was atrocious. It's clear as to why he was cancelled. Just embarrassing

Just because shes a criminal doesn't mean she doesn't deserve support. Maybe thats why she felt she needed to do the crime.

Oh please. Let's not blame anyone for her criminal behavior. She's an adult and she can get another job. She could have also been more careful about who she slept with.
