@@cordingkarma1139 sorry I hadn’t seen this. The biggest thing anybody will tell you is to just keep playing. The best thing for a low ranking player to do is watch your own gameplay, see where you die, waste an ult, stagger.. stuff like that. And just hard focus on it. Go into a game and focus on staying alive. That’s it. Once you get good at that, work on mechanics, team comps, counters. You can get all of those from watching GM streamers as long as they aren’t one trick ponies. For hanzo specifically, you don’t need a crazy high sensitivity to be good. You need to flick every once in a while for tracer or sombra, but if are putting your flicks over everything else you’re bound to lose. On ps4 I play on 52/50. Also, don’t shoot at targets looking at you if you can help it. If they are, aim to one side of their head and hold it, wait for them to strafe back into your crosshair. Overwatch is a strategy game first, then mechanics come in. Hope that helps a little. Hard to tutorial over comment sections lol.

Settings issue

Yeah he’s the reason I main hanzo now but depending on the game I either play like gods gift to overwatch or the broad side of a barn is too small of a target

if you’re playing on pc, try lowering your sensitivity :) its harder to hit shots if it’s too high.. im not sure about console though

Arrge is so awesome! Love his vids. I have 265 hours as a hanzo main now. And I miss a lot in pvp. But when I'm up against AI bots, I am GOD! :D

Positioning. You can see it alot even in this video. Stop going down main, play off angles and high ground. He also has a lot of quite sneaky spots and unexpected angles which allow him to get those picks along with his godly aim lol. Positioning alone though can easily climb you up in ranks. Not feeding helps alot too.

@@Dark_Souls_3 try be more conscious of your team, make sure they are with you to back you up or if you are flanking they are fighting at main first before you go in otherwise you'll just get peeled instantly. You need to try attack at the same time so the dps/tank are preoccupied. Staggering is another issue in metal ranks where the enemy will just start snowballing and you'll be pushed back to your spawn. Just remember positioning, pressure and space are very important. Obviously depending on your role each one is more important than the other.

@@Dark_Souls_3 Arrge made a vid a few months back about trigger discipline, a term used in fps like cs go. When he flanks, he has gradually started to hold off the shot until the target stops moving. If you start shooting, and you miss, they are now aware of you and reposition or ping your location. For some reason, trying to hit a target from behind or from the side that is junking shots from one of your teammates is very hard to hit since the movement is very unpredictable. I more often hit shots when the target is facing me and I can align their movement and release my arrow when they move towards my crosshair, 7:04 vs the zen is a good example. I call it the solar eclipse, just take 0.5/1 sec extra and let them move right in to your shot. If you miss, just back off and reposition and try from another angle. Or send a sonic and wait a few secs and see if they will follow or turn away to focus on someone else, thinking you backed off and give it another shot. Just be slightly patient and more often than not you will end up with a kill. I was a hanzo main back in 2017, but after the remove of scatter I have barely played him, got a clip on my channel from the glory days of hanzo before goat comp and bring entered the meta… If I played him until today, I could maybe be half as good as Arrge is today😄
