Hi viewers, welcome to our channel for another exciting Airport walkthrough and arrival guide. Today we are landing at Colombo International Airport and going to walk you through the airport’s arrival process. We’ll guide you through airbridge, Arrival/Transfer, boarder control, duty-free shops, baggage claim, Custom, Visitor call and taxi-pickup point.
There’s a new facility introduced by the Department of Immigration & Emigration to fill your ARRIVAL CARD online. We included the procedure in the video too. This made it possible for Sri Lankans & Foreigners to complete their Departure & Arrival cards online. Welcome to Digital Sri Lanka! 😊

Hi there. When arriving from India to CMB, is it better to carry USD or to withdraw from the ATM using visa debit card.

It's a call between the cost for USD in bank and Money exchangers. Mostly bank rates and charges are higher in my opinion. Thanks

After coming out of the Airport which side you should walk( left or right) to catch government Bus or cheap mode of travelling toward Colombo fort or any other city, that is not in u e video

Yes, it's actually before the SIM shops where the banks are located - once you exit custom you will find the banks and exchange shops. Thanks.

CMB is Colombo Airport Code. If you are arriving you have to fill your departure airport.

In arrival card " name with initial" means??? What will be written in that coloum??? It will be my full name as given on my passport ???

You can write with your initials or you can write your full name.

Hi bro.. do i require a transit visa for 15 hours layover. Chennai to thailand via colombo.. we are Indian passport holders

Hi Sindhu, If you are planning to go out you need transit Visa. Anyhow for Indian nationals you can apply visa online and get entry visa. Thanks
