ARRIVING AT COPENHAGEN Airport in Denmark - Disembarkation, Baggage Claim & Arrivals Area

We are Arriving at Copenhagen Airport in Denmark. This is what an Arrival at Copenhagen Airport could like like if you were Arriving from a Shengen Member country. As we are arriving from a Shengen Member Country we will not be passing through Immigration / Passport Control. If you were Arriving at Copenhagen from a non-Shengen Member country you would pas through Immigration / Passport Control. In this Airport Arrival video we will walk you from the plane through Copenhagen Airport past the Copenhagen Airport Duty Free Shops and Restaurants to the Baggage Claim Area, past Customs (not included in the video) and onto the Copenhagen Airport Arrivals Area.
In the CPH Airport Arrivals Area we show you where you can take a Taxi and where the Smoking area is. We also show you where you can buy Copenhagen Airport Train, Metro and Bus Tickets with trains to Sweden or trains, metro or bus towards Copenhagen Central Station and up the coastline. The Copenhagen Airport Arrivals Area is located in Terminal 3. The airport code for Copenhagen Airport is CPH and the Airport is called Copenhagen Airport Kastrup or in Danish Københavns Lufthavn or just Kastrup!
Wiki writes about Copenhagen Airport (CPH), "Copenhagen Airport, Kastrup is the main international airport serving Copenhagen, Denmark, the rest of Zealand, the Øresund Region, and a large part of southern Sweden including Scania.. The airport is the main hub out of three used by Scandinavian Airlines and is also an operating base for Thomas Cook Airlines Scandinavia and Norwegian Air Shuttle. Copenhagen Airport handles around 60 scheduled airlines, and has a maximum operation capability of 83 operations/hour, and a total of 108 jet bridges and remote parking stands.

There was definitely some huffing and puffing there, HaHa! Talking while walking non-stop can be quite tiring on these airport arrival and transfer videos :-D Replying to posts is our pleasure, but we are finding more and more that we are focusing on our loyal viewers as replying to each and every single comment coming in daily for our videos is beginning to take up editing time (we both have full time jobs so the few hours we can edit after work are important). TIP! If you should be so unlucky that your flight are hours delayed or just have long between connecting flights, Scandinavia´s largest aquarium are situated 3 minutes walk, next to the airport. It is called "The blue planet" (In Danish: "Den blå planet").

What a nice video! I will transfer there in April! Only from EU flight to another EU country though. I will also transfer the terminal and I have only 1 hour time. I don't like fast transfers..

Hi, Hope to get your help / input about the logistics round our trip to Denmark. We are flying from Sweden and will land at Kastrup 11:05 29th of January, is that enough time between landing and our lunch reservation at Noma 12:15? How long does it usually take to go through customs, We travel without bags? How long does it take to go from Kastrup to Noma by taxi? Hope you can help with the above questions.

Hello. As you can see in the video, it takes very few minutes from the plane to a taxi area, I've been there around 20 times and if you have nothing to declare, and enter the customs green line (6:52) from there to the taxi rank it's about less than 1 minute. So, without checked bags from plane to taxi is aprox 7 minutes and Noma is approximately 15 minutes by car from the airport. If there's no delay on your flight and land exactly at 11:05, you could be at Noma before 12:00 for sure.

It's a pity there is no more human assistance or information regarding the DSB trains or the Metro. Perhaps you could do a video of how it is to use the Ticket Machines or show what the SmartPhone Ticket App looks like?

When we were at the airport, there were personnel helping tourists with the machines. They were very easy to use, everything is in English. Kastrup is one of the nicest airports to arrive and continue with public transport.

If Maro was walking slowly, then this Real Time "First Person View" would be very long.
