We arrive at Poolsbrook Country Park Caravan and Motorhome Club Site on the way to The National Motorhome and Campervan Show in Peterborough. We try and fail to find some motorhome friendly services stations on the M1. We walk into Stavely and I look around the site facilities.

Hi Bob, you are just down the road from me at the moment. I live in a village called Killamarsh, just up the road from Stavely! I usually ride the bike to Poolsbrook or walk along the Trans Pennine trail with the dogs, through the site and into the park.

Hi guys, I’m a truck driver and I stop at woollyedge services often and you’re right, there is no dedicated motor home or Caravan parking, you have to park amongst lorry’s in the truck park, not ideal, and if you do make sure you’ve got a peg for your nose cos it doubles up as a toilet! Great video, we were at poolsbrook at Easter.

A timely video for me. I’m from Chesterfield originally and we will be making our first trip to Poolsbrook in June ( my sister takes her Motorhome there a lot) we’re also heading to the Peterborough show this weekend Bob 😊. Our motorway services need to get up to date with the surge in Caravan/Motor homing, our EU friends have left us standing! Great video thanks.

LOL...There is parking for MH's etc where the cars are parked in both services, just drove straight to the truck and coach parking...I use them both when up that way in my truck, it is sign posted...

Bob just out of interest Poolsbrook was built on the old Ireland Colliery site, which in fact was a deep mine requiring headgear and shafts, ps love your vlogs

It is all roundabouts over there. They have been going crazy putting them in here in Minnesota. Can't stand them. I would go crazy driving in your country.

Another epic video....Mr & Mrs Earnshaw, could I ask for a favor, when you are going to the Caravan Show, could you please see if there are any Westfalia vans I believe they have the 640/41/45 including the one that can be made to a bed by folding the 2 seats. We have stopped on that service pitch several times, would be nice to know what size waste pipe on your Motorhome as we will have to get an extension for our 574 when we collect it. Please note that the Morrisons car park and petrol station does not cater for Motorhomes, good job you have taken your car ?

Colin Humphries thanks. I've a feeling that they have changed the waste emptying on the 574 from the Bolero, so best you measure it when you get your new 'van.

I've spent half my life on the damn places.If you write a complaint you will normally get some incentive to return if you take want to take your life in your hands.How ever it's always nice to vent one's anger in the right place .I think your scoring of 0 out 5 is very jenerouse, my rating would be -100 out 100.
