Very useful video for people starting out. I've been motorhoming for many years but I found it comforting to know that other people have experienced the same issues I have. With regards to the site electric hook up (EHU) points - the ones where you have to twist them to click live. I'm sure they were invented to cause grief to new campers - who spend about an hour wondering why there electric hasn't come on and checking fuses etc, all before being told by the person in reception that you need to twist it. For anyone wondering, new EHU points don't require twisting. Anyway, keep up the good work

Geez, for weeks I've been messing around with my aerial and apps etc. I never realized the light indicated the signal. Shining a light in there I now notice it says "Signal Finder" - duh. Normally too dark in the cupboard to see. Thanks, very useful.

Useful video for newbies, but there are a few things that, in my opinion, are not quite right. 1) When reversing do NOT reply on the camera. That little girl was stationery but they have been known to move! Always have someone watching you whilst you reverse. You can replace your reversing bulb with one that "beeps" as well as shines for under £10. 2) Do NOT plug the cable into the supply post and then walk round with it live in your hand. Always plug into the MoHo first then the supply post second. Likewise unplug from the post first, then the van. 3) The explanation of the ALDE water heating setting is wrong. An empty triangle means the water is not being heated. Half full triangle means the water and heating are both on. Full triangle is water only and water temperature is higher than normal. After about 15 minutes or so his mode automaticaly reverts to half triangle mode. The only thing I would add for new comers is make lists. Including a list for leaving home, for arrival on site and for leaving site. Thank Bob for an interesting video from a fellow Sandgrounder (Ainsdale)

Hi just something I noticed when you were checking the levels on the control panel, you kept pressing the view levels button to see how full you are, if you press and hold the button in until it beeps the levels stay on all the time. At night if you don't want them on do the reverse. Cheers mark

When searching for a pitch and you want satellite tv, remember that the satellite is in the south east direction, a small compass will help when searching for a suitable pitch.

Just bought my first motorhome really useful. Do you have any blogs on how you clean your fresh water tank? It's been suggested to me to use something like lemon juice in the tank take the rig for a quick spin and then run out the water ?

I haven’t even bought a Motorhome yet but trying to learn as much as possible to avoid expensive mistakes! Have you made a video yet on parking on blocks for uneven surfaces please? All the best.

Hi Bob, Jenny and Poppy. What made you choose the Swift over the others you looked at (sort if I've missed a video!). I love the Swift Command system - that's almost the choice factor for me but over the Bailey Autograoh and your Bolero, etc, are there features that made the Kon Tiki your (very nice) choice. We currently have a caravan but are looking to upgrade to a larger caravan or a Motorhome. You guys seem to choose with a very practical mind, so comments on your choice go the Kon Tiki would be gratefully received. If you have done a video that covers it, feel free to send me the link instead! The videos are fab and mega useful by the way - please keep them coming!
