Great review on the Arrma 3s line. I have a Typon 3s and a Granite 2s and I just love how cool looking the Granite is. I just wish I would have went with the 3s Granite. The Typon is so dam fast it's scary. Even with the front end espoused mine has held up quite well considering I run it into everything. I really enjoyed your video. Thanks for sharing. I have a Senton and BRCC and both are bullet proof. It amazes me how much of a beating they can take. I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again. Even though the Senton doesn't do back flips out of the box, I like the way it does jump. I love the look of the BRCC. The main issues I've had with the two are the tyres. The Senton tyres are soft and wear out really fast if used on sealed surfaces. The BRCC tyres make the truck handle really bad (as you mentioned). I replaced them with the Badland MX28 2.8" wheels which made a world of difference. More stable and loads of traction. thanks for the vid and your thoughts.

Hey great stuff. Really good to hear your opinions of all the cars. I agree with everything you are saying I think. I'd put the Senton at the bottom too. It is great and I like driving it but it is less good at various things than the others. What I've done with mine is to make it more of a cornering machine rather than trying to make it jump well. I've just shortened the shocks slightly and put thicker oil in and it blasts around corners on the grass really well. The inner fender set does help a bit with the air getting under it. I'm not bothered about the jumps with that one so much because I've got the others to do that. If I was only allowed to have one of them it would be the Granite and if I was allowed 2 then I'd also have the Typhon. I did damage my shocks a couple of times on the Typhon and I think it's because of the lack of a front bumper. To that end I have ordered a Senton bumper for it. It's really good that you can interchange parts and make hybrid versions. I decided not to get the Vorteks at the mo but if I didn't already have all the others then I might have done. I am planning to do some sort of comparison video but I've done nothing towards it just yet. Anyway, nice work on this :-)

Vent your Senton body wont parachute. I put the wider BRCC/Typhon arms on mine. Got a few sets of tires. It fun on this setup. I agree it’s takes a personal touch, but it’s a beast. PS wider body helps absorb impacts👍🏾

Thanks for letting me know about this video. So i am leaning towards the granite. I personally like the scale look of the senton but i have seen the issues associated with sct cars. I never even considered the typhon because it always looked fragile to me. More road focused. Thanks for this video man very helpful.

Wich one would you recommend? Id do light bashing and I already have an rustler 4x4 vxl, I love how the granite looks. And is one stronger than an other?

I have all of these except the vorteks (mostly because i think the price increase is ridiculous just for a better remote), and the senton is by far the slowest. Even with the body vented on punch 5 its much slower than any other 3s arrma on a track. Im considering putting a 3800kv motor in it to see if its much faster. Still fun though and controls good on the track. The Typhon is my favorite 3s arrma for the track, i can keep up with nitro cars and 4s truggies with it its so fast and smooth to drive. I might put a 4s esc and motor in it later for a bit more power though. The big rock is awesome for both the track and for bashing, but its much harder to control on jumps on a track. The stock tires on the big rock are trash though like you said, I immediately took them off. The granite i have is modified with a 3800kv motor and a castle ESC, and that thing is a front/back flipping and bashing king. Not useful on the track at all though. Each car has major strengths and weaknesses but its very fun to have all of them for the variety of what i can drive depending on the mood.

I have the 3s Typhon and the 6s Typhon. They are completely different animals. The 3s jumps better and is lighter... and sometimes more fun to bash. But if you want violence, the 6s Typhon running on 6s is an insane beast of a car with almost too much power and tons of speed. You will not regret having both. Or either.

I really wanted a typhon 3s.. but thanks to covid I could only find a mega... I have run it for about 4 months and abused the hell out of it in skate parks and bmx tracks and amazingly not broken anything.... I just bought the motor, esc and drive train to make it 3s... waiting sucks.. especially parts coming from America..

Between the senton 3s and the vorteks, which one would you recommend? No matter the terrain

I am having issue after issue on my Voreks. First all the wheels came off cuz no lock tight on the hubs. Now after 3 batteries i have no steering and throttle issues. I HOPE my servo is the issue but it seems worse than that. Light driving on the road no bashing. I can’t believe it.

With all your experience driving Arrma and Traxxas RC what would you recommend I get for my 2nd? I know Traxxas has some nice options as well which I'm also considering (just a little more $ it seems).

Bigger proline tires and bigger ramp lol mine does double backs at 60ft jumps pretty damn fun but I'm trying to break mine thats y I love this hobby send it!!

I put big rock tires on my senton and it wheelies and flips on command, wish I put granite tires tho after seeing this, thought they were the same size.

Hey I got the senton I just like the body but the wheels are trash they blew up after 2 days but I did put 11 batteries in it just 2s not 3s but it is fun!

I have owned my typhon 3s for a few months now, I have never broken anything on my typhon except when I slammed into a brick wall going 50 miles an hour. Super shocking, I only broke a steering knuckle doing that. Srongly recommend the typhon to anyone. Arrma tough.

I have the typhon big rock and senton. They all are good. Soon as you put the shims on the differential you will not strip input gears. Typhon wing is broken up. I put the granite fortress tires on my big rock

Which one would you recommend as best rc car for everything.

there are plenty of great expensive buggys out there... sometimes we are not all rich enough to purchase these buggys, they run 8s/10s and cost £1000 each... you should choose a buggy that is fast and durable for our simple pockets. the arrma senton is only 3s.. can reach 50mph, its very durable , can be bashed with cheap spares.. the Absima Assasin runs on 6s.. its very fast and with the included pinion will make 70mph.plus.... i have both these buggys.. they are excellent.. they are around £320 each... plus batteries etc... i also have a pro-boat sonic wake.. 6s £420... which will do 50mph.. its a great boat which will self right its self after our mistakes.. just my thoughts.. good luck to you.....

I canceled my blade 330s and preordered the fusion 360 3s. I dont want to wait until November to get it. I'm really excited it ships this month! I thought about looking at a sab goblin havok, but I'ma be honest with myself I fly shit I cant and $500 for a 280 size heli. It just isnt my type of ball game.

I have the big rock it's great all round, only complaint i have is the tires balloon a lot and it flips pretty easily if i turn too hard on grass, i'm going to get some better tires and thicker shock oil, should help it out a lot.

I got the arrma granite after watching your video and it didn't disappoint, im very surprised at the quality for the price! I like the Big rocks looks better for sure. The big rock might perform better with the granite tires, it might make it more like my kraton 6s. Where did you get that ramp?

For me i think i need to break in my Arrma Typhon 3s before i Accelerate and stop suddenly just so it dont go so bad the next other runs ill probly put like 2 batteries through it

Love my granite but damn. Once 1 thing breaks I’ve noticed EVERYTHING ELSE comes soon after. a front arm. Then a shock. Then another shock. Now a rear arm.

I had the vorteks. But i didn’t like how it would spin out. Traded for the granite, and it controls better but not loving it. Going to trade it for the senton soon. May not be as fast, but I think it suits me more. I have the Mojave but It’s too big/fast sometimes for my neighborhood. Senton might fill that void

As a beginner who has a few of these I think the senton looks the coolset. I hate how much leaves and dirt it collects I don't bash them all that hard. I would like to try a typhon it would probably drive a lot nicer

Decent video, but the stock big rock is not durable. Not brand bashing, but that’s flat out not true. Driveshafts, turnbuckles, and the arms are garbage.

Get some proline badlands 2.8s (or even 3.8s) on that Big Rock 🪨
