The Arrma Fireteam. This truck completely surprised me that I blew up my plan to convert my existing Fireteam and decided to buy a slider to convert it to a Big Rock 6s. Best decision. Wait until you see the runs with the converted truck! Sneak peak in the vid.

THE MOST ASKED QUESTION ON THE CHANNEL - "Where do you get the ramps from?
They were purchased from Toys R Us over 8 years ago. They are Ten Eighty Skate Ramps, the Kryptonics Edition. Came with the two ramps and a table top. I don't think you will be able to find it new but it may be available on the secondary markets.

@2XRC Now I wish I filmed it when we took this out. I took it out two more times after that but something about when you take a build out on the first run.

@cwatson42785 Thank you brother! You've been here since the beginning. One day YT algorithm will wake up but until then I'm going to do my thing😆 We got a great group of folks here and that's what keeps me going for sure for the YT thing. The hobby will never stop! Yeah man, I wouldn't do it if I paid full for this. Maybe if the FT was going all beat up and it was time for change. maybe. I was going to buy the BR6 roller or slider and that was even 20% more than the FT when I did the project. Plus if my friend did sell me his slider for the price I got, it would have killed me to convert that FT. My brother's ran so smooth. I still need to get mine out🤣 But I've ran the Rockfire, calling it that thanks to Phillyswords RC, 3 time already. I really like how I have it set up. I think it's better than how I setup my MT Plus 2, maybe.

I bought the red body, bumpers, plastic bits, and wheel hexes from Jenny's to do this to my Fireteam. Wanna say it was right around $200 for everything. That's about half what it added up to from Horizon. Haven't got around to the conversion yet. I didn't buy the tires since i like the Fireteam tires and have seen on here the Bigrock tires aren't great. Figured I'd order a set of 6s Backflips off there if i can ever catch them in stock.

6s backflips would be great on this for sure. I was running the backflip LP's on my kraton and loved them but recently I got a notorious and what I did was run the smaller LPs on my notorious and put the bigger backflips on my kraton. I think the swap fit both trucks so much better now. Have fun with the build!

@boduke9428 Exact same reason I held back from putting the stockers on here to. I was leaning on the Kronos tires but I've been putting them on everything as of late. These Jambo tires did surprise me.

How good did it feel to build the Big Rock? I built my Big Rock from a roller chassis, and I love it. I replaced my old Spektrum electronics with a Max6 G2, didn't know that Hobbystar had a 1560kV motor. Great conversion.

@sparetimerc It felt good. Funny enough I wasn't wow'd by the videos I saw of the stock truck until I saw Vas from Aussie RC Playground throw a similar motor in his and ran it on 4S. I was already going to do the conversion but it was his video that got me thinking to replace the motor. This thing is an animal on 4S. Ran it on 6S for a bit but it didn't need it. I'm back to 4S. It reminds me of my Savage XL on 4S.

YUP IT ACTUALLY COST A CRAP LOAD OF $$$ TO CONVERT THE FIRETEAM INTO A BIG ROCK.. I WAS GONA DO THAT TO MY FIRETEAM BUT QUICKLY STOPPED BEFORE I EVEN FINISHED ADDING UP THE PARTS COST…. RIDICULOUS AMOUNT FOR CONVERSION.. 😉🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙

@johnmiller4553 Yeah if you paid full price for the FT it wouldn't make sense. I even thought of buying the BR6 slider or roller but at the time all sellers wanted 20% more for the BR6 than the FT. May that has changed from when I did this project.
