Any advice on the 4s conversion seeing you’ve flipped it over 70plus a few times I think maybe remove the rear spoiler and make some air flow holes in the body to let some of that air getting under it escape before parachuting

Awesome video, need some advice if you would. I have the mega and want to race my neighbor with his felony..any suggestions? I got a max10 but thinking I could get being lighter with a 4s but maybe I should go 6s blx? Thoughts ?

Well, you will need to upgrade to brushless for sure. You will need to swap out the gearing to BLX as well, which is 32p. 4s with the right gearing will keep up, but the Felony will eat you at almost every turn. It's just built different. I have a few vids where I did some work with the Typhon Mega, which is the same platform and got it singing fast. Those may help out 👍👍👍

I want to dom something like this, but I have questions if you dont mind lol. Did you change the motor or just drop in a new esc? How was the speed & overheating with the stock pinion, if you tested that?

This was with the high-speed pinion,. And yes on a hot tarmac the ESC overheated alot. Spektrum ESC's have a very low overheat threshold where as a Castle can be adjusted, even turned off. Stock pinion I've had way less issues, but with throttle control you can run a full 6600mah pack without shutdown. Hope that helps!! 👍😎

Both the 4s and speed pinion. I did have over heating issues in the hot day, but cooler temps it's lasted a while pack no problems

@@disciplinerc I have the typhon so can vouch for that. Only thing I,m worried about is the ground clearance as it's so low. After watching your mega vid I'm now also considering a vortek boost an upgrading it to 3s. Keep the content coming, subbed 👍

I've ran dozens of packs through it on 4s. Still holding up. Just need to watch the temps with the speed pinion installed 👍

Torn between this /mega and upgrading or 4tec 2.0 if can get my hands on one for next build what would you recommend mate and I want to possibly achieve around a 90/100mph daily speed runner but can use all day n be good for general use aswell on around 3s 4s tops bro do you think would be cheaper and better to buy this truck and upgrade or buy a mega and start from flat bro? As I'm not sure if the 3s blx parts would fit on a mega if anything were to break bro 🙏💚👊

The 3sBLX for sure my guy. There is more adjustability and is built for speed out of the box. This body however isn't really 100mph whereas the Vendetta body is. As for you last question, yes the BLX stuff will fit directly onto the mega no problem, but for this to be a an all-round basher, speed machine getting 90+ and still hitting jumps will take its toll 😬

I put in a new Spektrum 130amp 4s ESC. The stock ESC can only handle up to 3s and will burn out the second you put a 4s battery to it

I put a spectrum 120 esc, 2 tornado 18mm fans a 4s battery with hot racing aluminum slipper pads, HD steel spur gear and a 20 tooth pinion on my typhon 3s blx and ran it to 75 easy on stock tiresand stock motor... no problems@@disciplinerc
