Hi guys in this episode I test a few Arrma Outcast upgrades and head to the skatepark for an Arrma Outcast Bash . I have installed Hot Racing chassis braces and an M2C rear shock tower brace on my Arrma 6s.
I also have a Tbone Racing front bumper and Hot Racing rear skid plate. Lets see how these upgrades hold up and if they can keep my stock chassis from bending.

Hey guys! I had a blast bashing my Arrma Outcast at this skatepark. The cold was pretty hard on the plastics but fun nonetheless 😀 Do any of you guys bash in the cold? Let me know in the comments if you have any tips on how to keep the plastics from breaking. Cheers. 😀🍺🍺

Well I guess I have a little tip. So youtuber kevin talbot said that if you spray wd 40 or muc off 94 on the plastics it will make them more flexible. So I tried it on my senton. It actually works. I did realize that it made the bumpers a lot more durable. There was no side effects to. But I would not spray it more than 1 or 2 times. This is becuase it can cause other parts to break, from being to flexible. I have ben worried that if I get it on the shocks it will mess them up. But anyways if you are going to do this if I were you, you should cover them anyways. I mean kevin talbot said you can just spray it all over. But just incase I dont want to mess up my shocks. I hope this helps. By the way there is no need if you have rpm arms. And wipe off all the exes in the morning, be used you let it soak over night.

Nice run!! Love the Outcast 6s. I got to play with my buddies recently and it’s a ton of fun. Absolutely yes I bash in the cold. I can’t stop just because of weather I just have extra parts on hand. I try to be a little more gentle when it’s real cold out. Still can’t help but to send it. lol

Im used to buggies and the forgiving way that they jump. The Outcast does front flips just by letting off the trigger. You need a real smooth steady finger to get it to do what you want.

@@Tegridy_Rc Thanks brother. Yeah every little bit helps. I won't even be able to afford a WLToys RC pretty soon 😭😂 Hopefully my new Granite is tough. The parts are definitely cheaper from what I see compared to the 6s cars. Speaking of WL Toys I actually caved into the "peer pressure" on KZfaq and reluctantly bought a 144001. I know they are decent for the money. Maybe I will have a different feeling once I get and run it a bit. But for the same money you can get a Tamiya TT02B.

Wish I had a stunt truck! How much are they? Is it pretty much the same thing as the notorious? What are the differences? When I run in cold, I like to constantly check the parts and put some heat under it. Like a heat lamp. But that’s just when I run at home.
@KaizerTest
@KaizerTest 3 жыл бұрын
The 4s Outcast is about $400 USD and the 6s Outcast is $550. But The Arrma Granite 4x4 is also a good truck and you can get one for about $230-$320 depending on brushed or brushless. For bashing at a skatepark an RC that costs less may be better. Like the Granite chassis is inexpensive to replace. I never thought to put a heat lamp on the car. I think the trick is to land as many jumps as you can and avoid one wheel landings...lol.😅

@@KaizerTest I guess a granite would be good! But yah, using a heat lamp is un-orthodox, but it keeps the plastic warmer and less stiff. It works for me. @@bigandcoolrcschool294 Yeah if you are running at home it may work or keep the RC on the floor of the car with the heat on and then take the RC and run it for 10-15 minutes and then back in the car...lol.
