This was the most fun I’ve had in awhile bashing my outcast 8s...love it when everything just works no issues and finding a new spot to bash , and I’ve noticed that the last few month running my outcast it really hasn’t had any major issues since I unboxed it and it was leaking everywhere, I almost returned this rc as I was fed up working on a RTR that had issue out of the box....glad I fixed the shocks and diffs that where leaking and this center differential is stock no fluid change all the fluid are stock just filled up from day one ....Xmaxx killer IDK but it’s on the same level ??? IDK 🤷🏻‍♂️ but it sure is one of my go to rc’s fir a great time !!!!

I've had one since they came out. It is my favorite truck and it's bone stock. Well Pinion change but other than that. I also have the Xmax and it's so tough. I've broken more on my Xmax than my outcast. They're totally different beasts. Nice Rip Earl.

My chassis is bent a little bit in several places but it's still fine. But I send my Outcast 8s super high every time full speed with the XLX2 and 1100kv motor with 35/47 gearing. My biggest issue is the constant bending of the shock shafts and broken shock rod ends or BOTH. I'm going to install those monster Rovan shocks and see what happens. Also I destroyed a front diff case finally after months of abuse so I'm going to try the GPM aluminum diff cases for the front and rear. Good bashing as usual Earl!

Crazy that why I did m2c but I bent his shock shaft to but the stock one only hold small jumps for awhile no big Bertha jumps 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️🤛🤛

Arma should release a 8s Big Rock 💡 with a plastic chassis to compete with the XMAXX they need a lighter truck my opinion.

While I agree and would love to see another 8s with plastic chassis, not sure if arrma is up to that. They are stuck on high fiber low flex plastics. It just works for 3s and 4s but they need to up their plastics game for it to work on a bigger truck.

Landing flatter helps a lot. The notorious and outcast are better controlled with the shorter wheelbase. My sons notorious has only broken 1 piece, my kraton......no

These do look sweet. I do like the lower ride look of the outcast. But the x-maxx is just out of this world. Been actually taking more of a liking to my revo 2.0. Did a few simple mods and it's a animal.

Now this is my opinion I believe that the Arena Rcs are built for hard core bashing. The Traxxas brands are some what made for racing!

Very nice I Bought the armor Notorious V5 it looks tough I race teknos and it’s pretty much set up like by eighth scale 48.3 butHi have not ran it outside yet because I live in Illinois and it’s like -14 here I would just end up snapping stuff

I absolutely love my notorious I just got mine like a month ago and have run about 10 packs it's been so cold but its a blast only issue I've had is a broke wing mount totally my fault and a torn shock boot also my fault because I didn't set the droop screws and it just tore the one boot from over extending didn't mess anything up though good luck with yours when you get some better weather

Yes for me it’s a must have rc the outcast 8s is a blast heave but has good air control after modify the center differential but every breakage cost a lot and the chassis tend to bend right away I just hammer it back as best I can 👍👍xmaxx just doesn’t have those issues and the little issue it has are cheap to repair 🔥🔥

Im a arrma guy but the xmaxx is king basher for now the outcast is newer and needs the bugs worked out how can you take the xmaxx which been out for years and had time to develop over the years and compare it to a truck that hasn't been around that long

Mine been great but they where empty out the box after I filled them I bent a front but it was a 45 foot landing on a Rock broke a control arm and bent a shock the only real repairs I’ve done and I’ve sent this outcast 🤔🤔🤔

absolutely not... the outcast 8s can't survive a real full bash session at all... but it's fun for some but for me it was frustrating how it wasn't durable... I like my kraton 8s better than O8S... but my xmaxx remains king 👑 basher 💪🏾 great video earl 🍻 💯

Look up stock xmaxx vs stock outcast same jumps good landings xmaxx wins breaks nothing .outcast 8s broke many parts its too heavy. You drive your rcs very carefully fast take them to a skate park to see who last longer. Xmaxx chassis 20$ outcast 100$ chassis .tell me whats better .
