This is a really cool truck. A short course that can be bashed. Trying to decide between the BLX brushless and this one.. Part of the fun of the hobby (for me) is working on my vehicles..so I'm thinking I may just grab the brushed version and upgrade when something starts on fire. Great video Saylorzez!

Out at the track with the Saylors! What a great way to wake up and get excited about our hobby! Great speed test - was surprised by the numbers. I really hoped the lipo was going to blow the stock battery, off the track! I gotta find one of those little GPS speed gadgets - maybe used on eBay or somewhere. I have this truck, in blue as well. It's esc motor combo is good for the first few months. But you'll get bored and put a brushless system like I did. i put a Hobbywing ezrun max 10 esc 4000 Kv motor combo in it and hits 50mph with 3s and the supplied 23t pinion.

Lipos are lighter that’s why it hits 32kmh. Nimh is 8.4, higher voltage but much havier than lipo. However that is a cool truck. Sold for me.

Hi, Thanks for the video. I bought in in 6-2018, currently it has the 5th motor as it burnet out 4 motors just because I drove it only on the beach sand. I don't recommend a brushed motor on sand at all! Thanks

I just had an idea. Maybe what you guys could do when doing speed tests is set up some cones to mark where the start line and finish line are on either side. I'm surprised Abby didn't get a faster speed like she usually does. Must not have been in the cards that day I suppose. Nice job guys!

Just purchased it and it’s freaking awesome coming from a 24 yo back when I was probably 15 at the time and had gotten the traxxas s-max 2. Something running on nitro or what not kinda just bummed about battery life but overall I love the frame size was not honestly expecting that and kind had a knowing more you can convert and mod if you put your mind to it

I had no intention of purchasing this truck when I went into my local shop but when I saw it I just had to have it. Best 4x4 truck for the money I recommend it highly.

I know of a few places to run that, lots of hills, speed not nessary. I am leaning towards a Nitro buggy come spring( no suprise). The gearing is what would determine top end speed it would seem like but mabe not. I know on my Dromida Truggys, the lipo scorches the nickle battery. Looks like a fun day anyways.

I am just starting out in this hobby.. Can you recommend NiMH batteries to use?

That was good I didn’t realize Arrma’s came brushed with ni-cads. Put a 3 cell 11.1 in it and bet you’ll see a difference. Is this the 2017 or the 2018 version? I know they really upgraded the whole line for 18. I run 14.8 Lino’s in it and it flies. 6s it will do over 70mph. I ripped the beads on the Dboots on the back from all that torque and finally learned a valuable lesson about running 2 11.1 3 cells together, unfortunately lol. Good video I love seeing Arrma and Traxxas. I know they cost a little more but they are fun. Thanks. God Bless

It says 30mph on the box arrma lies . Even with the Not included speed gear it will never hit 30mph.it will only bog down. As the 8.4v battery wasn't as fast as the 7.4v lipo.

I bought this for my 9 year old and she loves it. The only issue is that for some reason after a few minutes it shuts off and only runs for about 10 seconds. Any ideas?

So is Arrma discontinuing the Arrma Mega Fury, the 2WD SCT that goes for roughly 170 for this? This truck looks nice but ugh. Spending 240 something for brushed. Hard to stomach. Anybody here taken one of these and thrown a brushless setup in it? Does it have a metal drivetrain I assume to handle more power?

Hello RcSaylors! Can you please tell me what to do im so confused Bugs is on sale for $76 XK X251 is for $113 What do you think is best for me? What i like about the x251 is that it has rattitude mode that can do flips and rolls whereas bugs 3 does it with a single button and dont see thebfun in that... also im buying the x100 acro minicopter .. i heard you could bindbitnto the x251 transmitter (X7) to get better acro experience .. so what do yiu think is more worth it .. maybe you can tell me more abounthe bugs 3 advantages over the x251

I can't run the stock battery it doesn't hold a charge and it kill all my other batteries super fast when I speed charge them.
