I do speed runs not giving me good speed and it will brake and crash my car I did do good number with skipper clutch tho but I need to go faster

@@rcusa201 ok wow yeah your like a speed racer. Yeah I'm using the same slipper clutch on my vorteks 3S but with the 55T spur been working great 👍

@@paulrakis yeah it works good with stock systm once u change ur it will take bearing mines broke on one of the cars and lost control no brakes

Well the spool get Rids of the slipper clutch so no slip but trust me u can do good speed with slipper clutch but ur taking a chance they brake and then u loose control also I change gears to gonfaster I did 119

I had to learn the hard way with speed runs. I first built a TT02RR chassis. Then I put a 54T spur gear with a 32T pinion. Then kept moving up on the pinion one tooth at a time. I got to 98mph. Then I wrecked. Now the cars being rebuilt. I bought a brand new Vendetta and get it tomorrow. I intend to keep as is with just an upgraded center driveshaft aluminum, high speed center bearing and 2s and 3s batteries ready to go. Once I go for top speed, I will do the spool. Then come down in the spur gear teeth and up in the pinion teeth. This is how you build speed. Then once I max out the Esc and motor. Then you have to upgrade the motor and Esc amperage to get more power and run more battery cells. 4s-5s-6s-8s….16s ? You can even mount dual motors into an arrma chassis. They sell a mount for it. This requires other mods to the chassis but it can be done.

For this car u gonna get 29 pinion unless u cut the case I would go down on the spool or try to get close 1-1 gearing ratio

Not a Good idea it will brake the plastic axles and drive shaft from bashing u need the slipper clutch for bashing wouldn’t be good idea

If your wanting to go for top speed your wanting to go up on the pinion.

So far I did 116mph I’m sure I can push it to 130s

@@dover1966 yeah I keep that in mind for the castle system it’s true tho I work on real cars so when they r too cold they burn too much gas and don’t preform as they should

@RC USA 201 nice video man, very detailed install. Do you know whats the smallest size pinion (16t, 18t, 20t) that would physically fit this 34T spur setup? I'm still on the stock 3900kv so need to gear way down till I upgrade.
