Indigenous advocate Warren Mundine has called out the Albanese government for being “so arrogant” by having “no plan B” for when the Voice to Parliament referendum failed.
“The Albanese government had no plan B,” Mr Mundine told Sky News host James Macpherson.
“They were so arrogant that they thought they could push the Voice through, and it’s now blatantly obvious they had no plan post that.”

Albo’s contribution to the Voice was to drive it off a cliff. 15 months Albo spent spruiking around for selfies and ticking off his bucket list- never bothered to show some leadership or get across any detail.

Albanese crawled around gaining support of the Multinationals and they responded big time. With their backing he launched a campaign riddled with lies, disgraceful conduct for a prime minister. He thought he had the Voice over the line.I remember his victory speech where he asserted " we intend to enforce the ULURU statement from the heart in FULL.He was so psyched up - his expression said it all. Then when the Voice failed he had nothing else in positive policy to offer AUSTRALIA - and boy ,don't we know that now ! Economic destruction and a divided society from his lack of leadership .

Albo’s involvement in the Voice was a disgrace. Never bothered to get himself across any detail or to show leadership. Albo made it about himself, reflects his character well. Big noting himself, pathetic and desperate to rub shoulders with people like Alan Joyce (of all the dispicable people), flying around for selfies and attending every high end event that came to town… sadly for the voice, Australians voted no largely because of their distaste to the Albo influence.

Lived in the Top End for 21 years worked and lived in communitys, one job i worked with four countrymen and i knew all their pin numbers for their key cards, pull up at the bank they would give me their card and i would get their cash because of family hanging around the bank. If they went in to the bank they would have to share their weekly pay with family from waht i seen its parts of culture that dont work these days. As i was told why work when you have to share out your pay while others do nothing so others do nothing too and the chain reaction begins. This is not everyones attitude there is a lot one can do to create employment in communitys the money never makes it's way to a community it seems to disappear in the citys

The referendum was totally unnecessary. The Commonwealth already has the constitutional power to create a “voice.” It’s the same power that created the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Commission (ATSIC), which was a disaster. It’s all in section 51(xxvi) of the Constitution, the so-called race power. If this was such a good idea (it wasn’t) Albo should have just enacted it and let Australians see how it worked. If it worked well (it wouldn’t have) THEN ask Australians if they wanted to entrench it in the Constitution. I have never voted no in a referendum until this bad idea came along. Australia wisely rejected this nonsense.

Jacinta’s idea is great… if it worked. Australia for many years now, has already had indigenous specific industries and positions! It was just as hard to fill or hold onto an indigenous workforce back in 2002… as it is today. Our indigenous are provided these “protected” positions, yet suffer none of the consequences… when they don’t front for work or can’t be bothered completing a task, the business takes it on the chin because it’s an “indigenous” position. So, with ever increasing indigenous righteousness, funding and benefits, why “Jacinta”… is employment (particularly in indigenous reserved positions) still such a hard task?!

Countless attempts by well meaning individuals and governments over many years have attempted to address the problems that attach to the First Nation people of Australia. And here we are yet again in 2024 addresseing deprivation, alcoholism, abuse, and antisocial behaviour. Why ? The answers essentially revolve around values. That which is important to One section- land ownership, property, a formal education do not appear to be important to another. They don’t see how land can be owned, sharing is important, brotherhood against individualism…

The members of the "we are victims give us lots more money" club are Burney, Pearson, Langton, Mayo etc. and saw the voice as a comfortable seat on another generous government gravy with little or no accountability written into the constitution FOREVER. Albo pushed this lost cause for 18 months which is now something he would like us all to forget about. He described it many times as "a modest request with nothing to fear" and was advised many times to scrap. However he knew better, treated the electorate with contempt and pushed a lost cause while ignoring the economic woes of the country. Now politically a dead man walking, intensely disliked with little voter support or trust, a point the Labor hierarchy are taking very careful note of. Alarm bells are ringing loudly all over Australia so do the country a huge favour and save the little self respect and dignity you have left, RESIGN before you are pushed!!
