Arrow Construction Update | 1200, 1280 and 1360 | Schionning Designs

This is a construction update on a few of the Arrow Series projects currently underway around the world. First is the Arrow 1280 located in Queensland, then a 1360 also in Queensland - and finally 2 Arrow 1200 designs built side-by-side in Knysna, South Africa. One of these Arrow 1200s has since been launched. This footage was taken by the Schionning Designs team, and while not professional quality it shows different stages of construction, different interior layouts and options, and is helpful for those contemplating an Arrow build. I've recently bought a 2006, South African built, Jaguar 36 and am delighted to discover she is a Schionning design. Things have obviously moved on and I think the latest Schionning designs are stunning. Congratulations.

Some commentary would be nice. Love the outboard motors. Really excited to see vids of it in the water under power!

Awesome looking boat! Question, how would you best set up both a starboard and port helm position where you can stay dry and still see the sails and where your going? What would that look like?

Look up the solitaire 1490. My favorite design.

balsa? why? why not foam? how much cheaper it is to justify using it? also- is there a version without chines?
