Prometheus/Adrian Chase was so good. That mental torture scene, and how despite not being physically stronger than Green Arrow Prometheus was always 10 steps ahead, so goood!

I will forever be grateful that Damien Darhk found his stride in Legends, Neal McDonough is too good of an actor to not have a starlight of a role

The funny was that just as I thought there couldn't be a more badass/savage villain than Deathstroke, Prometheus comes out of nowhere, has someone hold his beer, and completely amuses the hell out of me for an entire season..... 🤘

Take into account Prometheus was the main villain for one of the highest rated episode in the history of IMDb with the series finale of season 5.

Prometheus is the greatest...... Hands down, he broke Oliver, and was just awesome.......

I think if you take everything into account, Slade is number 1. The backstory with him and Oliver just makes it so much better that to me, no other villain is even close.

Deathstoke is by far the best arrow villain... but Prometheus and Malcolm Merlin (S1) are close

Agreed about Chase. Compared to all the villains Oliver had fought over the series run Chase was the most like him and in a lot of ways he’s a lot of what Oliver could have been himself.

Malcolm Merlyn for sure. The way he is woven into Oliver's life and the way he keeps that grounded image but also a real threat is just amazing. No magic, no bullshit. Just a very real physical threat to Oliver.

I'm so sad to see this show go. Prometheus is still my favorite though!

1. Best Main Villain in Arrow; Oliver Queen, he is his own villain, this whole show was about him improving, Diggle said multiple times Oliver became his own villain and I feel he was.

it was just something about Chase and Queen constantly being in each other's presence when they didnt wear the hood was brilliant.

i have a new appreciation for diaz after rewatching. that scene where he sends hits out on every member of the team and their families all at once was intense and him having all of star city under his thumb actually made me feel like the main characters were in danger where as in other seasons i havent really felt that

I finally have met someone that agrees with me😂everyone always puts Slade over Adrian. But from the moment Prometheus showed up in S5 I knew he was going to be excellent. And the turn with it being Adrian Chase when Adrian Chase is “The Vigilante” in the comics that was brilliant. Josh Segarra played the hell out of that role

The whole season I was just too mad about how Prometheus could possibly be as good as Oliver with less than half the time to train that I didn't just enjoy the character

I like to think of Prometheus almost as Arrow’s own version of Zoom, since Adrian broke Oliver down to his basic instincts and feelings, and Hunter robbed Barry of his father to further drive him into the dark, and make them the same. Also both of them just have intimidating suits, lol

I'm not mad at Ricardo Diaz season 6 placement he was an interesting villain however he would have been. However the anti monitor should have been placed lower because of how undeveloped he is and no just because of how fire season 8 was he shouldn't get placed higher than Diaz because of how underwhelming he felt as a character which took me out of the crisis storyline when it came out

Damien Darhk was a badass main villain in, he nearly destroyed Team Arrow

It's crazy how I like 100% agree with this list a lot of ppl forget Prometheus, but he was such a good antagonist.

I think you underrate cayden James, Ricardo Diaz and season 6 as a whole. It was a really good season and did a good job setting up the amazing Slabside arch

Prometheus is the best because Oliver never actually stopped him. Adrian was always 10 steps ahead and even though when he blew up the island it didn't result in the death of all his friends as intended, it did kill his son's mom. Being that Prometheus wanted Oliver to kill him, and thus, kill his friends, you could argue that he actually threw the fight, and that it was possible that he was a better fighter as well.

I used to like deathstroke more than Prometheus but now after rewatching arrow season 5 holy shit Prometheus is taking that number 1 spot and for those who say he ain’t that strong he bested Oliver in battle which is not easy to say the least

Ra’s introduction was sick af, I feel that if they played it better in the second half, he would be comparable (in terms of writing) to Malcolm Merlyn. It should had been Oliver, Malcolm and Thea fighting Ra’s, with Ra’s only losing because Oliver promised to take his place.

I honestly find Ricardo Diaz to be the most intimidating villain. The lack of a suit, the rough voice, and the tattoos give him an intimidating presence.

Pometheus is the BEST villain of all time because he was the only one that can make Oliver feel powerless and the ONLY villain that begged Oliver to kill him and didn't, and us not forget that in the last episode he said if he kills him, he kills his friends, if he don't he'll kill his son.

Adrian Chase AKA Prometheus is the best & the most underrated villain of Arrowverse. He was perfect ✨.He challenged Oliver psycologically to the point where Oliver was ready to quit being Green Arrow. He got through to him like no one else did. He broke him completely. He is the only villain Arrow couldn't kill. He killed himself to prove his point, to cause him pain even after his death. Even till the end he was always 10 steps ahead of Oliver. The actor Josh Seggara, played it wonderfully, he was perfect for this role. But the writers spoiled it all in S06 where only Samantha was dead & Adrian's death was for nothing only because they didn't have the guts to kill that many characters in the show. If they did Oliver would have been broken, depressed & lonely as Adrian said "I think you are one loss away from being destroyed". Season 5 was my favourite.❤ Permetheus was my favourite.❤

I mean Prometheus was really good overall and I really mean that he was awesome, but Deathstroke in my opinion was a much better villain overall and he was very well developed and there is something about Manu Bennett's version that even though I am not entirely sure what it's, it makes him my favorite live action Deathstroke ever so I would have to say that this is the top 2... 1. I think you underestimate Cayden James. He's not that much of a physical threat but he was able to divide Arrow's team with his own team and he was nearly able to finish his plan thanks to that.

I've only seen the first 4 seasons so I can only rank main villains from seasons 1-4. From worst to best Damian Darhk Ra's Al Ghul Malcolm Merlyn Deathstroke I loved Darhk but in Legends. He wasn't a good villain in Arrow

Damien darhk is one of my favourites just because he has great humor. I love how he does the magic thingy on someone and when they don’t get air he just starts copying their behaviour and he makes fun of them. I just don’t get why everyone makes him so low in his list.
