@@Johan590 Yeah. Adrian Chase doesn't love his father. he is obsessed with him and has even placed him at the center of the universe and will practically consider him a god. And all this despite the man having done nothing to deserve such devotion.

At this point Adrian has invested so much of himself in his revenge against Oliver. There’s just too much momentum built up behind it for him to turn things around. He probably just enjoys torturing Oliver for his own sake now.

Adrian liked it anyway. I think it was 70% for his own enjoyment and 30% for the indirect cause of his wife's death (who I believe Adrian somewhat cared about prior to killing her)

Steve Rogers everything he did he did to avenge his father, to honour his father when the truth was his father wanted to disown him. Chase did all that to honour a man who didn’t want anything to do with him

Partly because his insanity is innate, and partly because she was probably also his mother who conditioned him to put that man at the center of the universe and worship him as a divinity. Because that's what Adrian Chase really is: An empty man enslaved by an obsession.
