Can’t believe people are complaining. Yes it’s expensive but look at what get FFS! It’s better than I was hoping for, and the artwork on both sets is awesome, not just some generic image of Lee with the film title but proper newly commissioned art, a fabulous looking book, cards, poster. This set is going to keep me so busy! Release of the year for me, probably of the decade!

Congratulations on reaching 20k! I can’t understand the people who are complaining that there isn’t Enter the Dragon in the collection & they’re refusing to buy the box set! I’m thinking, if the UHD was included was you only going to watch that & not bother with the rest. Yes it’s a bit of a ballache but when it does come out they’d only have to replace the blu ray with the UHD. The price is a bit expensive but for 6 films that’s like £20 each, & to have multiple multiple cuts of the movies plus documentaries, imo that’s a really good deal. They’d probably spend that if not more of they were released separately.

Thank you mate! Just at 2K though, not 20K ;) Don't think i'll ever reach those dizzying heights! Totally agree about the response to the BL set, it is pricey, but the price will def fall over time. And for the huge amount of new content they've created and commissioned for it, I think it's a fair RRP actually.

I prefer the outside artwork of the yellow set, and the inside artwork of the red set. Anyway preordered the yellow set day one and the films and extras are what’s really important. Keep up the good work Dragon.

Thank you mate! Yes indeed, it’s what’s in the discs that matters most, the artwork will always be subjective. I think I’m leaning towards the red set as I’m a sucker for Tony Stella’s artwork but both sets look great and I do like the game of death yellow nod!

I am super stoked! I ordered the yellow set on day one. Although now that I see the inside I think I prefer the red. No worries it’s the films that count. Unfortunately living in Canada, and at this point not having a regain free disc player, that is very disappointing. I may be forced to buy one. It’s not Enter The Dragon that I am worried about, although that would have been nice, I will just pick up the separate release. It’s the alternat cuts and extra features, that I am upset about that is the stuff that justifies the price tag. I have been a Bruce Lee fan since I was 10 years old and my Dad sent me down town on the bus ,by my self for the first time, to see it in the cinema. That sort of thing would never happen to day, thank you and bless you Dad!

I think it's quite cleaver from Arrow to include the Enter the Dragon and include it on the spine because once WB releases the 4k, we can just change the blu ray disc with the 4k.

Now that I can see the artwork close up the stuff done by Tony Stella is on another level. Was going to get the yellow boxset when I upgrade to 4k if it was still available but no rush for me now. The box set is worth every penny. Bruce fans would have paid a small fortune just for the mandarin cut of TBB on bootleg video back in the day. So this is a steal.

After purchasing the Bruce Lee Master Collection Blu Ray box set a few years ago, I didn't think I would have to purchase another one. The inclusion of the missing log scene and outdoor footage from Game of Death as well as the longer Mandarin Big Boss makes this one a compulsory buy for me.

Lol, it’s all relative I guess. Personally I think it is already looking like about as ultimate a boxset that we could have ever hoped for. But I place as much, if not more, value in the wealth of new bonus materials Arrow has commissioned for the set. And the many contributors they’ve managed to include.

@@TheFanaticalDragon I'm not complaining for the 50th Anniversary boxed set it's fantastic and will be purchasing one and to be honest it would be very difficult to top,but having been a Bruce Lee fan for nearly 40 years I still dream of the following complete remastering of his HK television appearances the saw scene from The Big Boss maybe just maybe a little more Game of Death footage the last part is gonna come true.

I understand completely and I do agree, like you I have been a fan for about the same length of time, and would of course love as much archival footage and the movies to be presented as complete as humanely possible. I genuinely feel Arrow has really done everything they can to make this as ultimate a set as it’s possible to legally and practically produce. If only all the other HK movies deserving of such treatment received it!

The Scottish Soldier meets the Dragon is the most YOU sounding line ive heard in a while 😅 great great video man breaking it all down! that Red art across the board for me is my fave of the two. These Extras are blowing my mind. Arrow is slaying it. This is going to have to be a day 1 buy for me now. Its too good. The only thing i was slightly hoping for would have been a restored version of the warriors journey doc brought back into the fold like it was on the early Enter the Dragon blu rays.. great job Dragon 👏

I’m intrigued by the new Arrow restoration of The Way of the Dragon because the Criterion one didn’t look pristine enough, with obvious artifacts on the transfer.

Going on Warners recent release of Superman i can wait for a review for Enter The Dragon as Warners will probably exclude the original audio and put a half ass attempt with Atmos 😢. Arrow have gone all out to try and give us the best and most comprehensive Lee money can buy. It's the boutique labels that are making the effort with 4k. Perhaps Disney, Paramount and Warners should learn from there example.

4K disks are region free which means you need a 4K TV with a 4K Blu Ray player or a PS5 to play real 4K. It's just the Blu Ray disks that are Region B only.

Criterion hold the rights for the US market so this set won’t be able to be sold stateside. But if you get a multi region machine you can import it from the U.K. to US. I had to do this in reverse when Criterion first released their Bruce Lee His Greatest Hits set. It’s the release which made me get a multi region player originally, and is honestly the best decision I ever made for collecting!

4K discs aren’t region coded, so they will be playable in any 4K player but remember that the 4K set still has a number of regular blurays inside it ( the extras discs and enter the dragon) and they will all be Region B locked. (Region A isn’t region free btw. It’s for American and Asian markets)

Yes and no. They have all 120 minutes of footage that Bruce Lee shot for the project. It’s not behind the scenes in the sense there was no separate crew filming the production documentary style. But you see every single frame of footage that Bruce Lee shot. If they shot 4 or 5 takes of a shot, you see every take. And there are several fights filmed that never made it into any attempt to reconstruct Lee’s vision before. So Yes is the short answer.

Yes. But not in every scene. It’s all the reels he shot. So every take of his own pagoda level fights as well as every take of the scenes he shot with other actors. Sometimes he is in those shots sometimes he’s not ( like in the Log fight etc)

The more I see the inside art the yellow boxset, the more I dislike it. I am thinking I will cancel my Yellow box set pre-order, since it is only for the the outside box art. I don't want 4K. Will just get the Red Blu-ray set.

It’s included. Just not in 4K, regular bluray only. WB release their own 4K disc this year. But the extras are identical to the one Arrow is including in the boxset. I cover all of this in the video.

I covered all this in the video, actually in two videos now, if only you had watched them. No. It won’t be sold directly from Arrow in the USA. Criterion hold the US rights. Buy a multi region machine. Then you can play discs from anywhere. Then every Bluray basically becomes region free.

KZfaq, Apple TV App, and Vudu App on My brand new Samsung 85” Crystal UHD 4K TV keeps kicking Me off because of the internet issues. I’ve called the Internet Provider and they’re supposed to be sending someone out to fix the issue. If and when they fix it then I’ll be able to watch videos again.

aye, i posted this video two months ago. The boxset is called Bruce Lee at Golden Harvest for good reason., Enter The Dragon is only being included at all as a bonus extra. Warner Brothers are putting out their own 4K release of ETD soon. The Arrow set is entirely focused on Bruce's HK movies. Still time to cancel that pre-order if you're pissed off about it all though. But if you're getting the set mostly for ETD you'll likely be pissed off even more when you get it. It's ALL about The Bog Boss, Fist of Fury, Way of the Dragon and Game of Death. That's where all of Arrow's hard work has gone into.

I don’t quite understand Julie, do you mean where can you buy this? It won’t be released until July 17th. You can pre-order it from the Arrow U.K. website ( or some US retailers who import U.K. titles if you’re in the USA) if you mean how to afford to buy it? I personally will be eBaying stuff I don’t want as much as I want this Bruce Lee Boxset to pay for it.

Disk 8 is only 2k so it's not 4k ..so basically it's a rip off

Loads of the discs aren’t 4K. About half the set is regular bluray.

We have very, very different definitions of a rip off. I think it's an incredible boxset. Maybe you'll be able to return it to Arrow if you feel cheated by the advertising, though i'm not sure what adverts you've seen that you found misleading. their website is extremely clear about which discs are 4K and which are regular blurays.

The saw sean is long gone ,but the big boss is 10 mins longer and this is the madrian cut ,and yes this does contain the log fight scean ,and i have pre ordered the yellow boxset, and this collection is worth every penny as its the 4k UHD uncut versions as well as the normal versions
