What if Mario's outfits came with special abilities? In this video, we will give Mario unique powers based on the costume he picks. Super Mario Odyssey's shops have great looking clothes for Mario but now we can make them actually useful with gameplay enhancements.

Mario Odyssey is a popular 3D platformer game developed and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch console. In this game, Mario embarks on an epic adventure through various kingdoms, using his trusty hat, Cappy, to possess enemies and objects to gain new abilities.
One of the unique features of Mario Odyssey is the ability to collect and use different costumes that have their own unique abilities. These costumes can be obtained by purchasing them from in-game shops or by finding them hidden throughout the various kingdoms.

Costume Ideas: . Super Mario 64 Outfit - Be able to backwards long jump . Luigi Outfit - Hover unlimitlessly at one level of height with a pack of balloons . Classic Outfit - Be able to jump into 2D areas and back using ZR button without the pipe . Chef Outfit - Spawn turnips even if you're not in the Luncheon Kingdom (gold ones not included) . Cowboy Outfit - Call a Jaxi wherever you are and whenever you want . Caveman Outfit - Smash enemies with a club . Samurai Outfit - Whenever you roll or long jump, you turn into smoke and be invincible to enemies for the remainder of the roll or long jump . Golf Outfit - Spawn easy-to-get-out-of golf holes to hide in as long as long as you're on a surface . Topper Outfit - Hide in a green hat and be invincible to damage and get out using the B button . Harriet Outfit - Throw bombs that can break everything and kill all enemies . Rango Outfit - Be able to jump twice as far than before . Spewart Outfit - Shoot poison with the X button . Musician Outfit - Make all enemies, NPC's and even motorbikes dance

Even More Ideas: . Bowser Wedding Outfit - Breathe long-distance fire . Iron Mario Outfit - Be invincible to damage when staying completely still . King Outfit - Warp to Princess Peach locations instead of Checkpoint locations . Pirate Outfit - Tie yourself to an anchor and unclip whenever to go down water areas quickly . Doctor Outfit - Whenever you take damage from an enemy, the enemy dies along with you

I feel as though the pilot costume makes the astronaut costume feel a bit redundant, so it might be the best to add a cooldown like the sailor outfit.

The version of the invisible cap in the video should have actually been the final reward. Not the walking through walls but the enemies not being able to see you. All of these would have been cool in the game.

Here's an idea: if you wear one of the broodal suit, any broodal other than the one who the suit corresponds to will not attack you at all unless the real deal is actually on the ship and you can just skip past one for a quicker journey. For example, the Topper suit will fool all the broodals except Topper, unless the actual Topper is on the Broodal ship.

Most of the powers are just separate mods that arent effected by costumes as example the coin rings are just a reskin of the coins so they look like sonic rings

One of my ideas (i might edit this comment to add more.) Black suit (from cap kingdom) - When Mario interacts with a bonneton person, Mario can tip the person 50 - 250. After 1 hour, a notification saying “Your reward is ready in Bonneton!” will appear and when you interact with the same person, they will give you double the amount of coins you give them. NOTE: You can only do this with 1 person

4:00 sound like assist mode with extra step (if you don't know, in assist mode, you get unlimited breath under water, along side more health, and comming back to the last place you touch the ground when falling or being in the lava or poison)

you should have done the amibos where if you chose the bowser wedding suit you get to become bowser and transform as him anytime anywhere and you get his abilites but my fave is bowser suit
