If they ever made an Arrowverse movie, it would probably be a Justice League of Earth-Prime one, but animated for budget reasons instead of live-action.

Honestly that would probably be better than live action because a lot of the actors would not want to come back probably as far as a live-action film but they would probably lend their voices or give us a comic series continuing it like they did with Smallville

One hour of television is only 40 minutes without the adverts, usually less, so it wouldn’t last 5 hours. The DVD on Amazon lists a running time of 3 hours 23 minutes. Even with the deleted scenes added in and one break for refreshments and toilets, it could be done in 4 hours at most.

True without commercials TV shows usually run 40 to 42 minutes so no show is actually "an hour long"

Honestly I would love an Arrowverse movie as like a real final send off for the all of these shows no matter how I feel about them too

Sad, sad. I have been watching these shows re-runs on Netflix unfortunately I don't see anything coming like them - to replace them. Ah well, nothing lasts forever.

Doing such an event now would cost a lot more than 4 years ago. For instance: back in 2020 you had all the actors under contract, I imagine this included being forced to do promotional events. So getting all of them wouldn't cost a cent. Now with nearly all the actors having moved on to other things, you have to check if they're available, and pay them to show up (some might do it for travel expenses, but that's still more). Plus everything else has gotten more expensive too. So I don't think the current WB studio heads will green light such an event, unless someone can convince them it'll make them boat-loads of money.

I wish that they had found someone else to be a part of the Firestorm matrix, or found some rationalization about how the deceased professor wasn't actually needed (Shazam!).

the Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover was their biggest thing and i dont' think they can top that, that was pretty cinematic, i had to order a dvd from asia because there was no us dvd? for that special, you had to buy full seasons of dvds for each different tv show i think to get the full special

A movie would work I think. With a bigger budget and not to mention how talented many of the actors and actresses are on all the shows. This would be pretty cool but I doubt it will ever happen😢

Doubt they’ll release the 5 hour Crisis next year because James Gunns Superman is coming out and they want to solely focus on that movie. Don’t get me wrong I would be stoked if they did that, even though I’m not in the US 😅

Covid did kinda kill the arrowverse. I’ve heard that they had planned crossovers for post crisis arrowverse but couldn’t make it work due to covid which explains why the universe felt so much more disconnected after Oliver died. I really think the Arrowverse deserved one more big crossover between Flash, Legends, Superman and Lois, Supergirl and Batwoman and the remaining members of team arrow one last time cause the way it did go out was just kind of sad. It felt like in universe everyone went their separate ways after Oliver died like he was the only one connecting everyone together and without him they had no reason to interact. I would’ve loved to see more interactions between Barry and Superman and maybe build on the friendship they sort of hinted at developing between barry and sara.

honestly I know covid has something to do with it some of the actors they wanted to end it and they did and when CW sold itself to someone else they totally changed its format however I think they wanted the arrowverse to keep going I think that was their initial plan but the higher-ups and with what was going on it just didn't work out that way

The 60s Batman show had a movie released in theaters between seasons 1 and 2, and it flopped. So did Batman: The Animated Series. Batman: Mask of the Phantasm came out between seasons 1 and 2. And it flopped. I wouldn't be surprised if that's the reason WB wanted to keep both universes separated. Power Rangers is another example. Amy Jo Johnson said that the reason was, "Why go all that way to watch something we can watch at home for free?" I'm paraphrasing.

i don't need a theatrical anything the Flash movie was a hit or miss for most people, if they start making Dc tv shows again, i would be behind that, i said in your last video we are getting a Penguin Tv show soon, and a Batman the animated series continuation also, so that is all and then we get James Gunn Dc movies

No, a movie for the CW DC Universe shows would not work. Theres one simple reason why, the ratings for the shows are too low. No studio in the world will fund a film for a universe from tv that already does bad, their point would be that people dont watch this when its "free" on tv, why would they then pay money for movie tickets?? I love the Arrowverse but this idea just screams not knowing enough about the TV/Film industry and how things get greenlit and what can prevent that. That being said, I could maybe see DC eventually doing something like this on a streaming network or something if people really seem to want it but even then the ratings for the TV shows were too low toward the end for something like this to realistically happen.

Walter Hamada was our best champion at getting Dc Movies made, then the Rock tried to take over DC studios and Walter left and we got the Black Adam movie, yay, and now James Gunn fired? everyone and is rebooting so we won't? get a Justice League 2 vs the Legion of Doom like Walter was planning .

I fan wrote an episode for Earth X. It's about how Flash X befriends a prisoner Iris. Then decides to team up with a small resistance to liberate a camp. Flash is left standing after he speed saves everyone out of the camp. Before he tells Iris goodbye, they share one kiss as he then darts away to take on everyone and dies taking out a few which would answer why X has a small team and why their Flash isn't around also adding to the theory no matter which world, Iris and Barry always end up falling in love.

Arrowverse was owed a movie. Maybe Gunn is pulling some strings since he and Grant have been talking but who knows. I badly wished for a decent funded movie and hearing this news only opens old wounds adding to the list of loss we as Arrowverse fans truly missed out on.
