Buried in this soil Are roots that go deep Like scars etched in the earth Ancient wounds, a reminder Of a distant age When the heart of the mountain Pounded in every proud mans chest Of forgotten oath When blood and honour Spoke to every true man's soul "Scotia's thistle guards the grave Where repose her dauntless brave Never yet the foot of a slave Has trod the wilds of Scotia" * Never forget Their sacrifice

Oh holy fucking master piece, I don't know how you did to create a melody with so many emotions capable of being relaxing, inspiring, Imposing and epic, like this one! Just the same feels that I sense when I'm lossing myself into the Mountains 💚

it amazes me that Saor got pretty big yet people seem to rarely visit the original album. it's by far the best if you ask me. the others are great but there's something special about this one

Agreed! I haven't heard their newest release but have all their other stuff :) It has a strong Celtic element and I say that as a Celt.

This is a debut? From a one-man band? What the hell! Do you play all the instruments or are the drums, strings, flutes and pipes midi?
@ofenblase20918 жыл бұрын
+Black Emperor No, it is a complete band! Dark Troll Festival 2015!

+Black Emperor I think the Drums and Strings are midi, but the rest isn't.
@Mustis15248 жыл бұрын
+Daniel Røkholt The drums are midi? The little cymbal accents in the beginning sounded fairly convincing but maybe I'm wrong.

Lol, what's with the blurry album cover?
@ernestpokropek24469 жыл бұрын
That's because Saor recorded Roots as Arsaidh, and then changed name.
