Hi all, so well remembered! My late parents married 15/4/50. My Dad born and raised on Plimsol Road, Arsenal fan throughout the ‘30s with 3 championships under Herbert Chapman, missed his first cup final vs Liverpool because of his wedding. May 8th 1971, their next cup final vs Liverpool again, older brothers wedding day for his first wedding. We as a family watched this live at the reception. We had moved North in 1969 and had seen them play 13 times in the north that season (I was born 1955). One home game seen visiting mu grandparents, 1 0 vs Newcastle. Charlie George goal. A wonderful season which we had to wait for Arsene Wenger to impress more. Hopefully Arteta can produce the goods this season! Nick from York

Brilliant. This is why I was such a football fan back in those days. Not a sniper in sight. I never missed a home game that year. Players just pick themselves up, and get on with it. No begging for cards and faking injury. Real men's game.

Not an Arsenal fan, but this video was great entertainment from a bygone age. Well done Arsenal; hard luck Leeds and Liverpool.

This is when I became a fan. What a team, the title and FA Cup in the same week. So many good players but Kennedy and George the stand outs with Armstrong. Thanks for posting

I only came across it today, and they are top again. What goes around, comes around. Not the same now of course. Too much cheating, and the commentators are so bias. I'm sure they are getting kick backs.

Some really good memories here. I was behind the goal at Wembley that Charlie George scored into. I couldn't jump or celebrate too much cos I still had stiches in my side from a burst appendix op a few weeks earlier. Fabulous day out & I managed to walk home with my school mate.

I was at Hillsboro when Stoke were running away with it! Such a delight to get the draw then the replay win! Next I had to save up for Wembley!

I was there too. I could see the white sleeve of hand ball for the penalty from the opposite end. Villa in the replay was brilliant.

Superb. Brought up a lot of emotions. I started going to Highbury in 1967 and only missed 1 home game that year at 12yrs old!!

My first time to Highbury was for the Fairs cup final second leg. I saved up, and pestered me mom to let me go on my own. Didn't know where I was going, and ended up in the North Bank. What a blast. Went to every home game the following year, and they done the double. Seeing this brought it all back. WHL on the Monday. Epic.

23:48 Brian Moore must have forgotten his glasses that day because it's not that hard to see the ball changes speed after it brushes Graham's right boot. Changing the playback speed to 0.75 makes it even clearer. Actually, changing the speed to 2.0 makes it impossible to miss! There is no doubt that George Graham touched the ball!

Arsenal winning our first doubles in 70/71. Going to our rivals Tottenham and beating them to clinch our league title for the eighth time.

Hey Louis Malekani I can't reply to you, must be something in your Google plus settings. But...No, I haven't altered anything. Hey Jude, the song this comes from is a Beatles song, released in 68. Not sure, but I'd guess it's Liverpool fans maybe changing the hey jude to -'liver-poool'
